Ferrari World, with its iconic red roof in the shape of a Formula 1 vehicle, is in an amusement park devoted to the world-renowned Italian car manufacturer. Thrill-seekers and adventure junkies can ride one of the world’s fastest roller coasters Ferrari admirers can learn more about their favourite car manufacturer and families can take things slower and enjoy the variety of rides and interactive museums and drive replica Ferraris through re-created Italian streets. Ferrari World is one of the largest indoor theme parks in the world and with air-conditioning, it is a great way to escape Abu Dhabi’s desert heat.
The number one ride in the park is the Formula Rossa roller coaster. Strap yourself in the cockpit of a Formula 1 race car and test your nerves in this incredibly fast coaster. Catapult an exhilarating 52 metres (170 feet) into the air and feel the G-forces that a Formula 1 driver feels. Fly around the track high above onlookers at speeds that reach up to 240 kilometres (149 miles) an hour, or race a friend on the parallel tracks of the Fiorano GT Challenge.
While Ferrari World is best known for its roller coaster rides, it is also a great place to learn about the history of these celebrated Italian vehicles. Journey through re-created streets of Italy in the Bell’Italia exhibit or watch historic footage of the racing cars in action at the Cinema Maranello. Take a virtual tour through the Ferrari factory in the Made in Maranello exhibit or watch the kids drive their first Ferrari on the Junior Grand Prix course.

Ferrari World is a 30-minute drive from central Abu Dhabi and is located on Yas Island. A regular bus service departs from the city centre to Yas Island and valet parking is available for a fee. Ferrari World is open daily and tickets can be purchased on arrival.
