Is out of season for this town so was quiet and not everything was open in Barneville Carteret but is a lovely little town. Beach is beautiful! "Nadine me us on arrival. She speaks only French, we speak only English. However, with the use of a translation app on her phone we managed. She provided a thorough explanation of the features of the property. The property was spotlessly clean with a really well equipped kitchen. "We absolutely enjoyed our time here. The views from the backyard was stunning. I'm assuming the part of the house we stayed in was the pool house. It is connected to the owners home. Although he was right next door, we had no issues at all. He gave us our privacy and our own yard. We brought our 2 dogs with us as well. Off road parking and really convenient location for visits to the Normandy beaches, Mont St Michel, Granville etc Lovely beach and dune walks locally and reasonably close to good supermarkets. Next time we'll remember that shops have different closure times to ours. Only downside was steepness of stairs but our senior was glad of the downstairs bedoom"
