"From my interactions with the owner to the home and the breathtaking views from the property— our stay at Rock and Stone was wonderful. It was comfortable had everything we needed and was very close to one of the trails to the monasteries. We enjoyed cooking at the house as well as walking into town. "I chose this place primarily because it looked updated and had off street parking, but it ended up being so much more. Clean, comfortable bed, nice large walk-in shower, kitchenette that was well appointed. Only a short 1 block walk to main street with access to everything you could possibly need. "Our first impression was that the vrbo site doesn't do it any justice! It may be small in places, but it had plenty of room for my wife and I. I was impressed with the look and workability. We took advantage of the back patio. Bed was firm and very comfy! The location was great because it was away from the noise of the tourists and traffic of Kalabaka. But it was only blocks away. "We had an exceptional experience starting from the first minute we stepped into the lobby. We were greeted by a receptionist, a very kind lady who provided us with local area maps. The room was cute and cozy. It was updated and looking modern. The next morning we had a good breakfast. The receptionist helped to plan an efficient Meteora tour. The day was simply magnificent. The hotel also provided a recommendation for a nearby tavern, it was delicious."
