"It was everything we needed for a weekend stay! The inside was cute and we had all the kitchen supplies to make our own meals. Only cons: The adjoining neighbors porch was unkept. The yard needed mowed with trash in it. (I imagine that blew over from the neighbor's side.) The bunk bed was different than the one in the picture but still 3 twin beds. "

"I came with two friends to shop and experience Amish Country. The house was perfect. We ate breakfast there both mornings and had aupper there in evenings. Walked to main street both days and loved all the shops. Drove out in the country, ate at Yoder’s, shopped at the Bulk market, took a buggy ride. We are coming back soon."

"I stayed on the dock for hours: water splashed, insects chirped, large perches frolicked, herons came to visit, black scoters dove and bobbed up. Excellent golf course - Meadowview - is 13 minutes away! And two more a little further. Alamo steakhouse is 14 minutes drive; their crème brûlée is to die for! "A nice and quiet home with a lot of space and comfortable accommodations. The access to the lake was wonderful as we had family close that could boat over .The back porch area was great and enjoyed by adults as well as the children in our group . The communication with the hosts was great and any questions were answered quickly .A great place to stay and hope to visit again in the future. "

"Our family enjoyed this historic home near Milliken University. It was so nice to have a place to "come home to" during our time in Decatur. This home gave us plenty of room to comfortably relax and I enjoyed having a kitchen and dining room for meals. Our host responded promptly to any inquiries. "I booked this property last minute for a family visit and was happy with how quickly the host accommodated us. Communication was prompt and helpful whenever we reached out. The three foam beds were comfortable, and each bedroom had its own TV, which was a nice touch. "Me and my friends stayed here for 3 nights and loved the house. The easy access to the lake was great. The pontoon boat available to rent is well worth the money as it is a very nice and newer boat. House was clean and much larger than it looks in the photos. Will definitely consider staying here again for our next lakehouse trip!"

"We had a nice stay at the Holiday House. The decorations made it extra fun! We had 3 adults and 5 small kids — it was nice to let the kids play with toys and in the yard while adults hung out. The hosts were great! We had no issues with our stay, but the hosts were quick to respond when we asked for a recommendation for St. Patrick’s Day festivities."

"This is our 3rd year visiting Arthur and staying in this home. We come back every year because the home has exactly what you need to feel at home. It is spotless. "Very nice, roomy and clean home. Only had a couple of issues… air was not on when we arrived at 3:40, and it was about 90 degrees. It took several hours to cool down. Also had plenty of bath towels, but only had 6 washcloths… for 8 people. We would stay again to see the in-progress outside work completed, ! "
