"we booked a room to stay as we were attending an event. We were disappointed when we realised the hotel was separate from the venue building with no covered access between the 2 buildings. The hotel was clean and basic. The staff were lovely. Our hairdryer didn’t work, but I used the one in my sisters room and informed them on check out.The breakfast was a tad disappointing as it was dry, but a reasonable choice. "We arrived to no electric at the hotel due to storm Bert. Fortunately the electric wasn’t off for long, and we were shown to our newly refurbished room. It was nicely decorated, with a large bathroom and shower cubicle. The bed was comfortable and the room warm and it was quiet. The only downside was I paid for a sea view room but did not get this. I got a room overlooking an over grown garden. "
