From the lobby to my room, everything was spotless and well-maintained, creating a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. What truly stood out, however, was the incredible helpfulness of the staff. Every member of the team I encountered was friendly, attentive, and eager to assist with any request. Their warm hospitality made my stay even more enjoyable. "Booked a room with a fjord view and we weren't disappointed - it was great just looking out the window. We also appreciated the extra space, with sofa and arm chairs to sit on. Bed very comfortable.
We also had an excellent meal in their restaurant one evening, trying the local delicacy klippfisk.
Molde is a very pleasant place to spend a couple of days and a good base for outings to e.g. Trollstigen and the Atlantic Ocean Road.
It was our favourite stay in Norway so far this time, but there were a few minor downsides. It could do with a few more hooks for towels in the bathroom and easy to reach electrical sockets by the bedside (leading to the additional comment - please vacuum under the bed more often!). Also the staff, whilst not unhelpful or unpleasant, were not as friendly as other places we've stayed."
"Just up the road from the bus terminal we arrived from and were able to check in an hour earlier. Friendly staff and room very clean, all we needed for an overnight stay. Nice view from the window. The breakfast at 175NOK (£12.50) was in my opinion not worth it considering the chain hotel we stayed in in Trondheim was only 25NOK more for a lot more choice including hot buffet items, but the onsite bar/restaurant however was very good. Fish n chips was one of the best I’ve been served and was value for money."
