"Nice location for a special event, but would not stay again overnight, better value for money elsewhere.
Poor amenities, broken furniture in the room and overpriced on weekends, food is only average.

"Initially I wasn't sure about staying at the Imperial Hotel (as it's an actual hotel/restaurant/pub), but the accomodation out the back is quiet and convenient. It isn't particularly modern, butwas neat and tidy, and had all we needed. Will likely stay there again. "

The Laurels B&B Kangaroo Valley
10/10 Excellent
"A Five-Star Warmth and Breakfast to Match!
We took a beautiful drive through Kangaroo Valley and found The Laurels B&B what an absolute gem! Lindy and David welcomed us like family, with warm chats, genuine care, and little thoughtful touches that made the stay unforgettable.
The cosy living areas, shared wine, and friendly conversation made it feel like stepping into a storybook. And David’s breakfast? Absolutely elite the best English breakfast we’ve ever had.
If you’re in Kangaroo Valley, this is a must-stay. More than a bed and breakfast, it’s an experience filled with warmth, charm, and memories you’ll treasure."
"Timbalah was the perfect place for our family/ friends annual get together for a cold Christmas. The house was easy to find, street well sign posted and had enough parking for our 3 cars. Timbalah was very welcoming and the heating kicked in quickly as the area turned on cold torrential rain and mist for our 48 hour stay! Accessing the house was easy (tip - screen shot the instructions as signal in the area was terrible until we accessed the wifi!!) The dreadful weather didn’t dampen our fun. We had books, games, the snooker table, lots of food and wine and a fireplace. Perfect! We all slept well in our comfy warm beds. The bathrooms were huge, and we did enjoy a big bath. The well appointed kitchen and large oven was great for our Christmas roasts and vegetables….and no washing up with the dishwasher. The table was big enough for us all to gather around for all our meals. It was good to have wifi for our Netflix family movie post Christmas dinner. Tim, our host, was very responsive to our queries and generous- especially with the firewood. He gave us some good tourist advice on local walks and good cafes in Mossvale. Fitzroy Falls was spectacular with all the rain. We all loved our stay. Thankyou Tim! "
"We had a lovely stay at this cottage, very warm, cosy, new and super clean. Sitting on the verandah in the crisp fresh air with a cup of tea and watching the nature around was a highlight for me. Noelaine is a great host, with good communication and the supply of essential food items and eggs, bacon & bread was very much appreciated. Would stay again."
"Property was well appointed and neat as a pin. Really well equipped kitchen for cooking and we loved the firepit outside at night. The afternoon sun on the verandah with a cup of tea was such a relaxing place to be.Greg was very welcoming and we picked up a couple of eggs from the hens for our breakfast!"
"Perfect location and house no matter what the weather is. If you book, double check walls for subtle unforeseen marks as you will lose your 1000 bond. Also, if you want to watch KAYO for sport, it’s not available on the televisions, so bring your own device. Other than that, we will definitely book again and be very aware of our children accidentally bumping walls. "
Unique self-contained farm stay in the picturesque Southern Highlands
10/10 Excellent
"Judith and Don welcomed us to their beautiful farm. They happily involved us in all aspects of farm life. The accommodation was comfortable and clean. My kids had a great time and want to go back again. "
"We stayed at Daisy Hill with our extended family with travel from Sydney and Canberra. The property was easy to find, well stocked and had lots of rooms to stretch out and relax. The bonus was the proximity to Fitzroy Falls. We would definitely stay there again."
"Wonderful cottage in a beautiful peaceful location BUT on arrival after travelling all day there was no milk for tea or coffee in the fridge Phoned property manager , waited half an hour for his return call and advised WE DO NOT PROVIDE MILK The property is very remote with no shops nearby Even the cheapest properties provide long life milk !!!! We were very disappointed "
