Specially designed for romantic and relaxing enjoyment, this 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom cabin. The bedroom is located upstairs with king bed and satellite TV which overlooks the noisy creek. There is a mini-split with Heat AND AC.
On the main level, the living room offers old-timey wood burning stove- great to snuggle up on those cool mountain evenings (wood not provided), 40" Smart HDTV and high speed internet. The kitchen is equipped for cooking for the 2 of you and there is plenty of seating around the dining table. The full bathroom is just off the hallway/kitchen area on the main floor. There is a mini-split in the living room with heat AND AC with a remote control.
Enjoy relaxing in our wonderful 2 person hot tub overlooking the creek. You can cross the creek over our foot bridge and wander up to the private pond out back stocked with koi (No fishing allowed). There is a small fire pit by the creek as well. Build a small fire, sit back and relax. You can listen to the sounds of the creek while enjoying your precious time away from home. Enjoy preparing your meal on our gas grill located on the back deck overlooking the creek.
Creekside Waterfalls is located next to a state maintained road that the locals travel making it easy year round access between Boone and West Jefferson.
Appalachian Ski Mountain is approx. 30 minutes away in Blowing Rock. Sugar Mountain Ski Resort is approximately 45 minutes from our cabin.

There is a 2 night minimum for off peak seasons and a 3 night minimum for holidays and the entire month of October. 4 night minimum for the Thanksgiving holiday and a 7 night minimum for the July 4th and Christmas/New Year holidays.
Important Notes:
***The cabin is access by state maintained paved roads. However, you it may be necessary to have 4X4 vehicles with tire chains during the winter months.
***The owners use outdoor surveillance cameras to ensure that their home remains safe. No cameras monitor the inside rooms of the home or near the hot tub.
***There is no land-line phone in this cabin. Cell phone coverage is not guaranteed. The home does have WIFI so you may be able to call using WIFI calling.
***No Smoking inside the cabin

As you plan your trip to the mountains, please remember we do get rain, snow and some foggy days and occasional inconveniences which are out of our control. Winter weather in the Blue Ridge Mountains can occur from November through April. The majority of our homes are accessed by mountain roads, which will be icy in winter weather. For the safety of you and your party, please be prepared to drive in snow and ice. This means 4-wheel drive, good tires, and chains. It is your responsibility to be prepared for hazardous road conditions. There will be NO refunds, allowances, or date changes resulting from your negligence in this matter.
