"This is a very basic apartment and has a very odd damp/mouldy/unaired smell on entering & a little dusty but it was fine & had everything you could need for a short break including an iron & board, hairdryer and kitchen equipment including a coffee maker, toaster & microwave. It was quite small but was enough for 2 adults & a teen. Parking was included & the car was outside the apartment so easy access & secure. Fabulous communication and easy access to keys etc and we were given entry 2 hrs...

"This was our first time holidaying in France and it didn’t disappoint. The house has everything needed to make the break enjoyable, with plenty of room, beautiful deck and grassed area and the bonus for our boys was the sports area at the back of the garden, where they made lots of friends. As a base this was perfect and we used the local pool with a great slide and inflatables. We were able to food shop local and had a day in Lille which was excellent and experienced some basketball playing...

"We really enjoyed our stay with Herve in the Old Forge in Comines. The property has been done up really nicely, full of authentic, quirky details, with the hanging chairs being a real favourite and the hot tub providing a great way to relax at the end of a long day sightseeing. Location wise Comines is a great base for exploring the surrounding areas and even the beach is easy to get to within an hour. We also couldn't have asked for a better host in Herve, who made us feel welcome even before...

"Can't give 5stars as receptionist said No your name is not on the list tonight, thankfully after showing my confirmation email he managed to find me on the system. If you're English like me, there's no kettle in the room to make hot drinks. There was a dispensing machine in the lobby but it was broken on my visit.
