Peak Season:

Paris seems to constantly be in peak season; however, technically speaking, the peak season falls between June and early September. Distance: 25km to northeast Paris

Public transport is probably the best option for getting from the airport. Extensive rail and bus systems make it easy to get to wherever you need to be in Paris. You can also take a taxi; however, taxis can be expensive for the budget travelertraveller, as their rates are dependent upon the current traffic situation. Alternatively, you can rent a car, but this option can also be pricey.

Paris-Orly Airport (ORY)

Distance: 13km south of Paris

Orly is a much smaller and several degrees less frenetic airport than Charles de Gaulle. Hosting more than 30 airlines, Orly handles mostly domestic and European flights.
