I liked the knotty pine walls, bed, bath, reclining chair. I didn't like the questioning about my service dog. I didn't like to hear man behind the front desk give his opinion regarding emotional support animals. He has no compassion for people who have PTSD., or other mental health conditions. In the room there was a sign saying check out was 11:00 am, well they came to my door knocking at 10: 30 saying I was supposed to be out of the room already. They were rude. They have no business to be in the hospitality business. I won't come back, nor send anyone else there way .

The property is old fashioned and charming. We would stay again. Even though it is off the highway the property itself feels like its off the beaten path. Downside, you can hear your neighbors. Great ice machine.

We loved our stay! The rustic yet updated motel was exactly what we hoped for. Very authentic! We were thrilled to have a king and queen bed in separate rooms for our family. Easy access to the gas station across the street, shops across the bridge in town, and the dunes. We highly recommend making this part of your travel plans.

While this is an older property, the owner seems to be maintaining and improving it regularly. The room was cheery and the bed comfortable. It's not fancy, but very homey.

It was quiet. No TV in the bedroom, only the living room. Grounds are well kept. Nice staff. Rooms have glasses and plates, but no silverware. Floor was coming up in the bathroom.

Our room was very clean and comfortable. Staff lovely, it had everything we needed. They are doing something to the road in front of the reception area so there is a trench surrounding the entrance which did not have any cover over it.

On Expedia the hotel is very deceiving, I thought we were getting that cute little cabin, but oh not it was just an average room with no A/C. I even received several texts about the cabin talking about how we needed to bring our own cooking supplies if we were going to cook, so I know that was what I reserved. The front lady wasn't very helpful about it either.

We stayed here for a night to visit the dunes just a couple minutes away, and thought that the motel was nice. The room was pretty spacious and came with a kitchenette, and the showerhead in the washroom conveniently had a hose extension! The futon was also quite comfortable in comparison to roll-away beds in other hotels, though the actual beds that came with room may have been too soft for comfort. The property was easy to access from the highway, however there wasn't any places around it to go to, such as restaurants or shops. If you don't mind not having free breakfast here, it's a nice option if you are visiting Florence.
