First the building is under construction. They dig the basement by hand which offers a smell of old ground moldy. The works are done nearby, on the side of the room so the noise of construction begins from 7h-7h30 am. Sounds of digging, and shovel hitting concrete.
The room faces mini street. In this street, they store metal market displays. So from 6 am, come and go to very noisy metals. And the return of the same rack at 10 pm. Around 30 racks that arrive one after another.
The owners are well aware of this problem because they provide earplugs. But I confirm that even with the earplugs the noise is really very aggressive.
I thought it was an apartment when I rented, probably I had misread but it is a room with bathroom and shared kitchen.
We did not contact the owners on these topics as they were likely aware of the problem since they provide traffic and so pass, see construction. I do not recommend this room at all. The other rooms are maybe better because they are more isolated in the back of the apartment.
To be clear. We hear the festivities in the evening because very close to the center of activities what we consider normal even if noisy. The rest, very disturbing and we would not have rented if we had been informed. Very disappointed.
