Unique Property
The house was adequately equipped and was very "roomy". It easily handled our group of 9. The location, mountain views, and wilderness quiet were awesome. The host was easy to communicate with and made the access easy.

Love the location, house was very clean. Internet is bad, upstairs tvs won’t sign in because the signal is so weak. A 10 minute task I needed to do online took 30 minutes

Another amazing Thanksgiving stay
We had another amazing Thanksgiving stay at this property. Great location, amazing outdoor spaces. We enjoyed the fire pit, took relaxing hikes, and watched the sunset off the back porch. We saw deer, drank wine at Chatteau Morisette and went zip lining just a mile away. You can’t beat the location and the abundant space in the house.

Weekend getaway
This is a beautiful location, right off the BlueRidge Parkway. Lots of land to roam on with the kids and grandkids, and just a short walk to a wonderful winery. We walked lots of the trails that are just out the front door, very nicely cleared and wide, wonderful with the kids. There is also a nice large firepit that we enjoyed each evening with firewood provided by the owner. We did collect small branches in the woods, which the kids loved! We brought all the food for our meals, there isn't anything nearby. This wasn't a problem, just be aware and pack what you will need. A nice kitchen with all the pot and pans you would need, also a nice grill on the deck. We had a wonderful long weekend and would go again.

Amazing stay
Family of 10 ranging from 8 to 65 stayed at this amazing spot for Thanksgiving. The house is everything you see in the photos and more. The land is amazing with lots of trails to walk and magical creek with mossy rocks. We saw deer and wild turkeys and more stars than we ever see in the city. The fire pit was a group favorite and was enjoyed daily. The rooms are spacious, the beds are comfortable and the kitchen was roomy. There are several hang out spaces- the main floor has a living room and sitting room and the basement has another living room and a GIANT bean bag that the kiddos loved laying on. The winery- Chatteau Morisette was a TREAT. It’s SO close to the property and the wine is only matched by the service of the family that owns it and the two resident black dogs. We took advantage of the close proximity to the zip line and everyone loved their experience. The nearby town of Floyd is adorable and had live blue grass music in multiple venues during the day as well as amazing shops. We have already booked for next Thanksgiving and can’t wait to go back.

Great place, and view would definitely go there again
This was a wonderful place to stay with trails to ride and ziplining 5 min down the road! We had a large group, but everyone was able to have a room. We do recommend a little better cleanup and more games for kids to play there. Maybe a Foosball downstairs. But overall great place and owners
