New floors, freshly upgraded and painted. Kitchen, bath, king and queen beds, outdoor seating will make your trip a pleasant experience for all. The downstairs includes kitchen, dining, and living room with fold out queen couch. The upstairs is a king bedroom with a hall bath and another room with queen bed. There is a private entry. The outdoor area includes a patio with table, chairs, umbrella and gas grill - it is not shared with other apartments. This is a townhouse unit in a building that has three apartments. Please note that this is an remodeled older house and the stairway to upstairs is narrow. Also supplied is a shared outdoor shower area to rinse sand and salt after beach day!

It is located at the 7th street beach walkover for quick and easy beach access, less than a football field walk. Only a six block walk into town for dining and great entertainment, shops, rentals and pier.

WE ARE PET FRIENDLY! PLEASE SELECT THE "PET" BUTTON. Maximum 2 dogs and we do not accept cats, birds or other animals. The pet fee is $95.00 plus tax and covers both dogs. Please let us know the breed and weight of your dog upon booking. Guest should prevent pets from producing excessive noise at a level that disturbs neighbors. Pet will not be left unattended for an undue length of time, either indoors or outside which includes balcony, patio, or porch as applicable.

**NOTE: This property is in a residential community and Folly Beach has a strict noise ordinance violation rule. Simply respect your neighbors, keep the noise down, which includes dogs if applicable.

This rental is not licensed for "EVENTS." House parties, bachelor(ette), weddings, functions, events, bands, DJs, etc., are prohibited. Gatherings should not exceed the maximum occupancy of this rental. Overnight guests strictly limited to maximum occupancy of this rental.

Close to beach, not far from town
We stayed two weeks with our dogs and loved that we were steps away from the beach. The townhouse has a fully equipped kitchen to cook every meal, which we did. The pantry was great to stock up and not have to use cabinet space. The townhouse was very clean. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of space for an extended stay. We bumped into the staff a few times and everyone was very nice and friendly.The dog bark is close by to allow some off leash time. Our dogs had a blast and it was nice to see that other pet owners cleaned up after their pets. The only drawback was that the walls are thin and the road, Ashley Drive, is very noisy. Public beach access parking is across the street so on the weekends you hear a lot of cars/people. While we wouldn’t stay at this particular location again, we plan on their Coastal Charm private house location.

Great long weekend getaway
This is a great little property right by the beach. The location is perfect, and the unit itself is cozy. It's not fancy or deluxe, but it's clean and comfortable, and it has absolutely everything you need for a wonderful beach getaway. One little quirk worth noting: the unit has window AC and space heaters (we found it very comfortable during both hot days and cool nights), but it also has vents. What it doesn't have is a thermostat. That's in one of the adjacent units. So, you will occasionally experience air that you can't control blowing through those vents. It wasn't much of a problem for us, although the vent over the king bed was a little annoying one night, but it's worth noting. All in all, would stay here again.

We had a wonderful time in this very clean and well appointed townhouse just a five minute walk to the beach. Also, a 10 minute walk to the dog park and pickleball courts. The rental process was easy. Will come again and have already shared Chastain’s Cottages with friends and family!

Great location and space!
This place worked out perfect for me and my spouse, his sister, and our dog! The beach access was super close and it was so nice to take a very quick stroll over. There were even beach chairs and towels for us to use which made it even more convenient. The host was very sweet and accommodating!! We’d definitely book again!

Fabulous stay in classic beach cottage steps from the beach. Boys could walk to surf camp. Clean and fresh. Bedrooms and bath are up a narrow set of stairs . Plan to book again next summer.

Perfect beach getaway
Our family has stayed here for several years now. House is clean and well stocked with everything you will need for the perfect beach trip. Owner is very responsive and helpful. Beds are comfortable. Towels, linens, beach chairs, and beach towels all available. Bedrooms are beautiful with lots of natural sunlight. Very thankful we are able to bring our dogs. House is a short walk to the beach. We will definitely be staying here again.

Wonderful clean space. We were super impressed when we arrive to see how well kept the property is. Even better, how close the beach was. We took advantage of that with morning beach walks every day. The beds were super comfy. The kitchen was big and was a great plus, we cooked every day. I was appreciative that the host was detailed in what was and was not included in the kitchen , as we were able to come fully prepared. The AC was cold and felt great after a day in the heat. Loved that the listing included the outdoor shower to rinse off. Location was in a quiet area, but close enough that we were able to bike everywhere we wanted to go on the island. Truly the only piece of negative feedback is that the air intake for the AC unit was super loud. It made for great white noise, but we didn't really use the TV downstairs due to the noise. Double edged sword because we did enjoy the AC :) Overall a fantastic trip and we will definitely stay again!

Proximity to the beach
The proximity to the beach was fabulous! It was convenient to run back to the house for lunch or drinks. We didn’t have to haul a lot each time, thankfully. The house was comfortable and they provided towels and beach chairs. I would highly recommend this property.
