"basic room but clean and a lovely pool- no tea making facilities. Great to have a patio and fresh limes to pick outside. However, clearly had not been de- bugged- we were bitten to death even with repellant. Breakfast was very poor- food left uncovered and meats and cheese left out for 2 hours not chilled. Tuna served from tin that was brought out each day- so unchilled for 2 hours a day for a week. Coffee and hot water was cold "

"We arrived very late but that didn’t matter as we had the code to get in. Eventually found out that the code and twist the knob to get the keys. The apartment was large and spacious. Bedroom was nice though the road outside is a rat run for traffic and so a little noise was experienced. Good location for tourists as nearby to many. "

"This is an amazing hotel nestled in on a side street in the center of Catania. It’s closed to everything you need. I had an amazing dinner steps away from my room last night for Christmas. Nicola is an incredible host. He made sure that all my needs were met. After being in Rome for 5 days I needed a break from the hustle n bustle of a big city that’s very noisy. Well here at this hotel there is no outside sounds to be heard from my room besides the beautiful church bells ringing time to time....

"The hotel is old but clean and very convenient to all the central areas of interest. The staff was great especially Angela! She was the most helpful and friendly person I met this vacation. Always a smile and volunteered to carry our luggage (in fact insisted) up the 70 steps to the room. She helped park our rental car in the courtyard and answered all our questions. "I intend to book this same B & B when I return. It is excellent value for money. I was allowed to keep my bags at the B & B before check-in and after check-in and this helped my stay a lot. It is within easy walking distance of the centre. Breakfast was included and you can indicate the day beforehand what you would like to have. there is also an effort for eco-friendliness and bins include the possibility to separate at source."
