"I am obsessed with the property and the bus! My husband and I stayed for a night with our three toddlers while taking a night off from section hiking the AT. We all slept in the king bed in the back which was INSANELY comfortable. The hosts are a super sweet little family. Our laundry was done for a small fee very quickly. "The Tapoco Lodge is absolutely beautiful and the staff was amazing. The cabin we stayed in felt like everything was antique but somehow still new. My only complaint was that Expedia allowed me to book it as a pet-friendly room when the actual room I chose wasn’t pet-friendly. The Tapoco honored the reservation anyway and took care of us. They were terrific. My wife is already asking if we can stay here again. "

"Out of the way and off the grid property. The road in and out is single lane, be prepared to back out if need be. Lots of twists and turns, if you’re one to get car sick be prepared. But once there it’s a quaint, quiet studio like place with nice little deck to sit on and enjoy the tranquility of the area. No cell, no web service. Just you and your partner, or as it was me and my girl. "

"We loved this property! Great location, everything appliances etc worked great, clean and all mattresses were so comfy!! Love all the little touches here! We got to meet the owners while they were cleaning next door and so glad we could put a face with such a great property!! We will definitely be back soon!! "Self check in and out. Clean, stocked with clean towels and linens. We were not here long enough to cook for ourselves, but that is a big factor when I book stays. "I booked this cozy gem for our guys trip to the tail of the dragon. The location was perfect for all the riding we did the week we were there.
