"It hurts to give middling ratings. The staff and mgmt were friendly and helpful (eg, they gave me a room close to the reception check-in, they provided transport to the train station when no other option was available). The problem is while the crew might be good they need to run a tighter ship, The property is showing its age, it’s up the hill from the town and is oriented to large groups. As a solo, shoulder season guest, we, the few, are lost in the cracks of pre-season prep. "

"We had rented the apartment and it was very nice, clean and cosy. Fortunately we did not have to cook nor eat onsite because it is really not equipped to do any kind of cooking. Maybe a trashcan in the kitchen could be useful also? Beyond this, the breakfast was nice and staff very friendly. We had just a big issue when checking out where they wanted us to pay 179 EUR for cleaning and other fees... it was 99 80 and I did not understand what it was for. I showed them that we had already paid...

Would be great that at time of arrival more information about activities that take place, like horse riding. "Our room/bed, pool, bountiful buffet and staff were the highlights of this hotel. We did visit the spa and steam room on our last stay, the spa was a little run down and wouldn’t pay for this if we stay again. The service for the spa was odd as we weren’t sure what we were doing and were left to find where it is and what to do with no help. "
