"The best part about this place is that it is about a 10-minute walk from downtown. The place is clean and has all the basics you need. Just a heads-up that the queen bed is a mattress in the closet that you drag out of the closet and set up in the living room. I did appreciate how the cabinets and the closet were labeled with a list of the contents. That saved time in looking through every cabinet! The house is a little bit old, but it is fixed up well. "

"We needed to make a last minute trip with family (all adults) and this was the PERFECT location and home for us. All four bedrooms are spacious (especially the master bedroom on the lower level) and the extra touches with the thoughtful, historical decor was AMAZING. Family members from the Netherlands, Iowa, St Louis & Nixa shared a wonderful time & the kitchen was certainly an accommodating place to prepare our feast! "Our first room smelled quite heavily of pot so we asked to move and they accommodated with a better room. However the toilet was ‘running’ and dribbling into the tank and was quite noisy. Hubby fixed it. Then the outlet for the coffee didn’t work and the air conditioner wasn’t working properly and then was loud. Hubby sort of fixed it but the room definitely needed some tlc. The bed was comfy and the room was clean. "
