"I was pleasantly surprised. The rooms are converted stables, which are very quaint. The room had everything you needed including a mini fridge. The pillows were amazing, had a good nights sleep. The only negative is that the heating was not on when I arrived, so the room was very cold. Ate in the restaurant and by the time I returned it was warm"

"Was a nice room. But wow was it roasting hot. We could find anywhere of turning the heating down or off so had a very hot night, even with fans on. The toilet however had no heating so was the opposite and freezing. Nice to have our own little room but think it was too pricey, compared to the many other hotels we stay in for major race events. Breakfast was toast, yogurts or 3 choices of cereal, nothing for vegetarians and not really a continental as offered. "

"Terrific staff. Very large room, king bed we're excellent linens. The bathroom towel warmer was a nice plus. They were very welcoming when we arrived and took a straight to our room even though it was very late. We slept well and really enjoyed the easy walk into town. About 8 minutes. Excellent parking right out front, completely off the street. I could hear a very slight amount of noise from the street but there was also a fan in the room and that blocked it out nicely.
