Located in the heart of Old Town, this cozy cottage is the perfect getaway! The interior features two bedrooms with queen-sized mattresses, two full bathrooms and a spacious common area for your group to gather. Enjoy leisurely strolls through our picturesque neighborhood and easily walk to many of Fort Collin’s top attractions. You will love being close to all of the action!

Nestled along Whitcomb Street, this cozy cottage is in the heart of Old Town Fort Collins where historic charm abounds! You will love your daily commute to the city center, a delightful walk with picturesque tree-lined streets and beautiful homes, both new and old. Here you can grab a bite to eat, check out the Museum of Art or hit the local boutiques for an afternoon of shopping – then head home to rest up before catching a show at The Lincoln Center. You will love being able to park the car and forget about it!

This home features:

OUTDOOR LIVING: There is a lovely backyard with mature shade trees and a deck with an outdoor dining table, BBQ grill, and string lights. The deck is private but the backyard is shared with the upstairs tenants who must cross the backyard to access their front door.

INDOOR LIVING: Two Roku TVs with complimentary Hulu streaming, dining table with seating for 6, board games, ceiling fans, laptop-friendly workspace

KITCHEN: Fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances, dishwasher, microwave, cooking basics, dishware/flatware, spices, complimentary coffee, creamer, tea and sweetener

BATHROOMS: There are two full bathrooms, one en-suite and one off the kitchen. We include hair dryers, soap, shampoo and conditioner for every guest stay.

GENERAL: High-speed WiFi, washer/dryer, linens/towels, keyless entry, central heating and air conditioning, complimentary toiletries, iron/board and cleaning essentials

PARKING: Private and street parking are available.

NOTE: This home is an over-under duplex with a main level apartment and a loft apartment above. You will be renting the main level of this home, with potential guests staying in the apartment above you. You will have private use of the entire residence, with the exception of a shared backyard. The house is well insulated but if there is ever an issue with noise, we are easily accessible to help accommodate your needs!

Close to Old Town!
We would recommend this house and would stay here again. The house was in a great location, so we were able to walk to Old Town. The house had everything we needed, and the beds were fine. Property manager was very responsive. The Wi-Fi seemed weak so we had to use only data for our phones. Probably not an issue for most people these days.

Family vacation
Our family of four stayed at this property for five nights in early August for a vacation and to move our CSU student into her junior year housing. The house and property were clean and well maintained and the location was great. I did have an issue with communication with the property manager. The description of the house on VRBO indicates that there is a sofa bed, which is not the case. There is a blowup bd, which was fine, but there were no linens for it even though the information in the binder indicated that they were to be found in the closet. I did not receive a response to my text to the property manager inquiring about the linens.

Nice location and clean
Nice house in a great neighborhood. Centrally located and quiet. It is mentioned in the listing, but this is the lower unit of a duplex. Upper neighbors were quiet, but an old house is creaky at times. Nice backyard too!

Excellent place and location!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the VRBO on Whitcomb. Very clean, well furnished, and close to everything we needed. Communication with the host was very easy. One of the beds was a bit soft for our liking but that is a personal preference and not a criticism. We would be happy to stay again next time we are in Fort Collins.

Nice rental
The rental was clean and had adequate supplies in the kitchen. The one thing that should have been told to us was that the second floor was another rental space. On our second night we heard footsteps above us and did not know what was going on until we investigated and found that tenants were on the second floor. It would have been nice to know that the property was split into two rentals. Good thing we parked on the road as getting out of the driveway could have been problematic. We also had a problem with the dryer as it quit working. Our request to have it looked at was timely with no complaints on action taken by the rental company, however after the repair person left the dryer still didn't work.

Wonderful location but very noisy
The home was very cute! We were not told people would be staying above us. It was impossible to sleep, you could hear every little noise they made. I could hear a sneeze, entire conversations and one of the tennants decided to smoke on the back patio (it said no smoking) so my entire family had to smell that.

Perfect working vacation spot!
We maximized our time in foco with a little working vacation - plenty of space for us each to work in peace during the day and then perfect location for fun in the evenings and over the weekend. Walking distance to old town. Planning to do the same next summer and will 100% rebook this spot. We did have other renters above us but we rarely heard them and it never disturbed our sleep.

Great spot!
We really enjoyed staying at Stacey's place. We were in town for CSU freshman orientation and it was a great location to walk to campus, food and shops. We rented a car and parking was easy at the house. The home was clean and comfortable.

I would definitely recommend this property and be happy to stay there again. The house was very well maintained, clean, nicely furnished and spacious. Check in instructions were detailed and easy to understand. The location was great and allowed for easy access on foot to shops and restaurants. The only things I would like to have been provided that weren't are tissues, aluminum foil and Saran Wrap. My other suggestion is that checkout instructions be texted as well as emailed, since I didn't see them until we'd already left.

Spring break visit
Location was perfect. Close to CSU and to Old Town. Only about an hour from RMNP. 2 decent size bedrooms, one with bathroom. Living space bright and spacious. We would definitely stay here again!

Great location
This is a nice spot if you plan to do a lot of walking in the Old Town area or the CSU campus. Very easy to get anywhere you want to go - FAST - and we were there in the dead of winter. Beds were comfortable and kitchen had all the basics. We had a good visit with family.

Best Spot In Old Town
We have been lucky enough to stay at this property two times in the last 1.5 years. It is so comfortable - ultra clean and perfect amenities. The bedding is so comfortable and the kitchen is stocked with the essentials. Communication with the property manager is excellent. Couldn't be happier and hope to stay again!

A great home away from home
Loved this place, sort of a mini Victorian, very well appointed, great back yard and deck, quiet - very desirable neighborhood. Just about a 10 minute easy walk to Old Town Fort Collins, through a residential area. Small/double size beds, but very comfortable. Plenty of room to move around with a living room, great kitchen, and separate dining room. Thank you Stacy for offering such a great home away from home!
