This is a one of a kind adventure! Historic, restored Thompson Trawler Yacht!

This is a one-of-a-kind adventure! Come stay on this historic 1976 boat, known as The Workhorse, has been world traveled. Wolf Spirit is a 44-foot Thompson Trawler Yacht, totally restored.

Cook on the indoor griddle or outside grill, have coffee as you watch the sun come up in the morning from the upper deck, find some nightlife close by, or a glass of wine while you watch the sun go down over the water!

Two stay rooms, two bathrooms with showers, and on boat bathroom amenities, tvs in the bedrooms, wifi, AC splits in the rooms, and an AC tower in the main living area. Upper deck, and main deck with a table for convenient dining under a sun protectant umbrella, and fishing poles available!

So much to do, so much to see, and you are right in the middle of everything here. Seadoo rentals, helicopter rides, live music, electric bike rental available for convenient local transportation to events, beach, or local restaurants. Host available for scenic pontoon tours as well, ½ day and full day available upon request.

Relaxing boat stay
Staying on a boat is uniquely relaxing. The sway of the boat is relaxing while sleeping. The salon area is roomy enough to stretch out. The master bed is very comfy. Plenty of fish and birds to watch. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Amazing Boat

I’ve stated a couple VRBO boats and this has been the best by far. The location was great lots of things to do very close by and/or just great for sitting on the boat, relaxing, and watching the boats go by.

Was in area for work and since we like boats and water found Glenn’s boat. Was awesome to relax on the boat in the evenings and wake up for coffee on deck in the mornings. We would return for a real vacation! Thanks Glenn! We had a fantastic time!

An exceptional and inspiring stay
We just wrapped up an unforgettable month-long stay aboard the Wolf Spirit. The boat was spacious, clean, and filled with charm. Good air conditioning in each room, comfortable beds, and the boat’s fly bridge was the perfect spot to watch sunsets. Nestled away from the hustle and bustle, the Wolf Spirit is located at Causeway Cove Marina, a friendly marina where we enjoyed casual food and live music many evenings. Our hosts, Glenn and Cam, made sure we had everything we needed. Having access to their e-bikes made exploring even more fun. Two highlights stand out from our stay: Firstly, bringing our own small power boat allowed us to fully explore the Intracoastal Waterway. For those without their own boat, we recommend Salty's Boat and Jetski Rentals, located on the same dock as Wolf Spirit. Secondly, the abundant marine life. From daily dolphin visits to peaceful encounters with manatees, and the constant flurry of fish and birds, nature truly put on a show right on our door step. The location of Wolf Spirit offered a good blend of tranquility and convenience. Everything we needed was within minutes including groceries, restaurants, live entertainment, beautiful beaches, and world-class fishing. In all our years of traveling, this stay stands out as our favourite. So much so, that we bought our own trawler before leaving Florida and will return to the area next year on our new boat. Thank you, Glenn & Cam, for providing such an exception and inspiring stay!

A great adventure!
An awesome experience staying here with a constant fabulous view. Dolphin sightings almost daily, & other shore birds. Hosts are wonderful people, quickly attending to anything that came up. Boat is in a great restored state, and can occasionally rock a little bit, depending on weather/boat traffic, so would not recommend to older folks who are not steady on their feet. If you are looking for something unique, this is it!

Booked this vessel for Christmas with my son. Ended up with my two Grandsons and his wife.....The owner was AWSOME! Absolutely would plan another vacation here! Both my son and I have Captains licenses...... but neither of us has been active in quite awhile......It's the best sleep you will ever get ! Makes me want to go back to work on a boat!!!

Wolf Spirit
We had so much fun. The Wolf Spirit was exactly as described in the booking. It was very well supplied with anything you need. My husband caught several varieties of fish. We enjoyed seeing dauphins and manatee several times while on the boat. Beautiful sunsets and very relaxing. Great restaurants and beaches close by. We enjoyed a pontoon ride with captain Glenn and his wife who are awesome people and a lot of fun. Looking for a new adventure try the Wolf Spirit. We were very happy from the time we booked until we left a week wasn't long enough.

Unique experience
The boat was just as pictured and described and I enjoyed the gentle rocking. The marina is clean and felt quite safe, was quiet , and we saw a dolphin, jellyfish, lots of fish, an osprey, and many other birds. The boat was old but well-maintained. Remember, it is an old boat and if using a marine potty isn't for you, rethink this option. The marina has a great shower (and traditional potty) a short walk down the dock that we used and it was no problem. Definitely recommend!

Birthday weekend getaway
My husband and I went to stay for our birthdays on the boat. We had an awesome time other than the weather. Easy check in , everything was on the boat that we needed and Captain Glenn is great. Very clean just overall a fun experience we got to fish, cookout and best of all relax and celebrate our birthdays in a unique way. 5 stars we can't wait to go back again

Had the best time chillin and grillin on the Wolf Spirit! Surprised my husband with this trip for our anniversary and it was so wonderful! The boat was beautifully decorated and looked just like the pictures. We also rented the pontoon and Captain Glenn did not disappoint! He took us to all the great spots and was a hoot to hangout with. We will most definitely be back!! I’d give 10 stars if I could!
