"Convenient location if climbing Ben Nevis. Few minute drive away. Clean and spacious, nice touch having milk in fridge on arrival after a long drive, to be able to have a cuppa was heaven!! Only negative was no iron so we had to dine out on evening with creased clothes. Ironing board was in cupboard but searched high and low for iron and gave up. "There were a few things that made our stay here uncomfortable and hence the 3 star review. The beds were horrible, hard as rocks and very uncomfortable to sleep on and the pillows were so thin that we had to double them up just to get a semblance of comfort. The front door kept moving throughout the night and banging with each wind current from downstairs, so we had to prop pillows up against it to keep it still. One of the bedroom doors would not shut. "We chose this location because of our plan to do several hikes, as well as visit the various Locks and Isle of Sky. It is a great location, though plan ahead and get your groceries in Fort William as the shop in Fort Augustus is pretty sparse. The unit was very clean and comfortable. "Myself and a friend escaped busy Edinburgh out here for the peace, quiet and of course the views. So much to see out here. From the beach house to the ride around to the nearby towns. The views are gorgeous. Makes you want to just stay ."

"We were disgusted when we arrived. The kitchen floor was taped up and tiles were loose. My husband is disabled so this was so dangerous for him. Paint around winvdows had mould on them. Moved radiator cover and floor was filthy. No mirror in bathroom or toilet roll holder. Everything lacked any attention to detail or personality. Luckily holiday company was fantastic and was able to move us on quickly"
