The thriving town of Fort William, known as the Outside capital of the UK is only 3 miles away, offering mountain biking, walking and an array of shops and restaurants, with the Grampians just a few miles away. Experience a cable car ride or in the winter months of December to April (snow permitting) you can enjoy the superb range of skiing and snowboarding activities and all your equipment can be hired on site. The cottage is located only 60 miles from the Skye Bridge where you can cross and enjoy this beautiful island. Perhaps opt for a day trip to Fort Augustus where you can take a boat trip around Loch Ness and see the boats leaving the loch and rising up over the eight locks, into the Caledonian Canal.
