Top hotels and accommodation in Fort William

The Caledonian Hotel
3.0 star property
7.0 out of 10, Good, (1011)
"The hotel was about a 10 minute drive from the city centre of fort william, right in the loch with ample parking, a restaurant and bar. The hotel itself was quite old fashioned with, the lifts and beds were squeeky, carpets old and there was a plastic border under the window that had fallen off revealing debris. Some plug sockets near the bed would also have been handy. It was a decent hotel and good location, could just do with a sprucing up."

Alexandra Hotel
3.0 star property
7.8 out of 10, Good, (869)
"Very good choice at breakfast. Room very basic paper pealing of ceiling and too warm and stuffy with unpleasant view. A bit of a maze with floorboards on corridors slack and noisy and corridors very warm and stuffy. I can only comment on my room as I’m sure there will be much better quality of rooms than mine hopefully. I thought for the quality of my room and hotel in general it was not value for money and vastly overpriced. To say it was dated would be an understatement. Would not return....

Linnhe Lochside Holidays
3.5 star property
9.4 out of 10, Exceptional, (143)
"Overall, we enjoyed our stay, and you really can't beat the view! It was lovely to have a private caravan all to ourselves with such a beautiful view. But, we were shocked to find that towels and linens wouldn't be provided unless we reserved them in advance and paid an extra 30 pounds for them! There was also no soap provided in the bathroom, no extra toilet paper, and no paper towels, facial tissues, etc. so we had to go buy a bunch of essentials at the store. That is not at all convenient...

RiverBeds Lodges with Hot Tubs
3.5 star property
9.2 out of 10, Wonderful, (143)
"We were in the riverside lodge and although the lodge was lovely it lacked privacy as the hot tub and decking area was fully visible to people walking past from the nearby bridge, passersby could see right in to the accommodation. The lodge probably wasn’t worth the total amount of money we spent but it is a beautiful setting. The lodges are marketed as luxury, but we wouldn’t class the ‘level’ of luxury as commensurate to the price - the breakfast was pleasant but basic and the shower/toilet...
