"Our recent stay at the Norton House Hotel & Spa, from July 16th to 20th, traveling all the way from Canada, was nothing short of exceptional, and several key aspects truly stood out, making it an unforgettable experience.
From the moment we arrived, the service was truly great. The staff consistently went above and beyond, demonstrating genuine warmth and efficiency. Whether it was the front desk team, the restaurant servers, or the spa attendants, every interaction was met with a helpful attitude and a welcoming smile. Their attentiveness made us feel genuinely valued and ensured our stay was seamless and relaxing.
Our room, located in the west wing, was a haven of comfort and tranquility. It was impeccably clean and thoughtfully appointed, offering a peaceful retreat after a day of exploring. The historic charm of the building blended seamlessly with modern amenities, creating a sophisticated yet comfortable atmosphere.
The food throughout our stay was absolutely top-notch. Every meal, from the exquisite breakfast spread to the delectable dinners, was a culinary delight. The quality of the ingredients was evident, and the dishes were prepared with precision and flair. The restaurant truly delivered a superb dining experience that exceeded our expectations.
One of the highlights of our visit, especially as a family, was the spa and pool facilities. We were particularly impressed that they offered"
"Comfortable and clean room within walking distance of Queensferry waterfront. Love the decor of the hotel. Pleasant area. So nice to have Tesco, Starbucks, and a wonderful seafood restaurant right next door. Definitely recommend! "
"A great option for staying close to Edinburgh Airport! I always stay here when I fly in the morning.
However, the pathway to the airport itself could be in better condition and better signposted - there are no clearly indicated pedestrian crossings so one has to drag the bags through rough pavements and jump in before cars to cross."
"Decent hotel for the price and the rooms were clean ,Rachel in the breakfast area was so helptand so was Ali who made sure we were comfortable.
The hotel is situated in a residential area which is not the best developed but still hotel seems nice and safe
Has a chippy /bar/restaurant and ice cream parlour right next to it in case I come back from Edinburgh early
Easy transport options (bus trainand park and ride from near hotel
Would recommend for a decent priced hotel away from city .
