"Initial impression was that main area of apt was smaller than in the pics, but still roomy enough for 4 adults - and view was great! "Gianni and his wife were lovely hosts in this quiet respite of a location near Lago Maggiore. We had a short stay but hope to return soon. The apartment is spacious and very clean. You have everything you need but a car is suggested for getting groceries or visiting the nearby villages."

"The Hotel Osteria della Pista was wonderful. Historic spot with very modern rooms. Restaurant was very good for dinner (make a reservation - busy on Sunday night). The breakfast was also very good. Shuttle to the airport was on time and very efficient. We walked from the train - find out exactly where you are going before heading out - especially in the dark. We had to do a little back tracking. The hotel will pick you up if arranged from the train - we should have done that. There was an elevator. And the staff where very helpful and welcoming. Thanks."

"Although check in took a long time, the staff were very helpful and the location was great for the airport as long as you are happy to pay the extra EUR5 per person for the transfer bus which was very regular and on time. There is also a brilliant restaurant a few 100m from the hotel, but needs to be booked in advance, but the food is outstanding and very reasonable."
