My only disappointment was we had to make our own beds but perhaps that is standard in Norway??? "The historic narrow, cobbled roads and shared entry courtyard make this apartment very hard to find but it is worth it. Be sure to get explicit instructions. It was walking distance to everything we wanted to do. In addition to being on Bergen’s coziest street, this is also “Bergen’s coziest apartment” in that it was a very efficient use of space. The whole three bedroom apartment would fit in our master bedroom at home. If you have five people, you will be hard pressed to find places to put...

"Simply fantastic! Cabin upkeeping is immaculate- clean, quiet with frienly folks around...if you get to thee them. We rented boat for few days and owner provided fishing tackle and fueled boat day earlier. Cabin completely private and surraunded by forrest. Parking is off highway but uts a short walk. "The hotel is very nice, although slightly expensive. Our room ("business class" supposedly) was nothing fancy and had no view, but the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom fine. Staff at the front desk were courteous and helpful. Our cruise ship had arrived early in the morning; we were at least able to store our luggage for a few hours and then they were able to give us a room a couple hours before official check-in time. Also, I'd forgotten to pack an electrical adapter for the outlets...

"We had a loft suite and it was the cutest room ever. It had a bed and bath on first floor and a larger king bed in the loft area. There was a ton of character to the room and the hotel. The bathroom was unique as the shower stall didn’t have any barriers so you couldn’t help but get the bathroom a bit wet but it wasn’t awful. The reception was great, quickly got us checked in and to our room in under five minutes. The restaurant that served breakfast was incredibly lovely inside and the breakfast was pretty good. We had a lovely one night stay and would highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Bergen. Very convenient location with good restaurants and the funicular only a short walk away."
