What an incredible place to stay. AJ and Roz saved a little old church and turned it into a one-of-a-kind place to stay. There is so much natural light. The bed and furniture are so comfy and you have a view of the mountain through the massive back window. Lots of thought and care have gone into providing little touches that make this a wonderful place to stay.

Lovely job in renovating this old church. Great kitchen and appliances. The bed needs attention, you felt a bit like you were sleeping in a ditch with our bodies sinking in. Overall great though. Thank you.

Give me some heat

Overall we enjoyed our stay but the church never did get up to temperature. We had it set for 22 and it never did reach that temperature. It warmer months this place would be wonderful. Beautifully restored old church.

Was a one of a kind accommodation, absolutely stunning. Would have gotten 11/10 apart from a few little things. The mattress is old and a little uncomfortable. There are blinds all around that have gaps on either side if you like feeling private while having a shower or getting changed you might feel a bit weird about that and the last even less important thing is the tv isn't a smart tv so if you want to watch movies you'll need to bring a USB or DVD/Blu-ray with you. Apart from those small details it was incredible and my partner and I will definitely be staying again sometime.

Atmospheric and luxurious stay.

Fantastic building with all mod cons and comfort. Complimentary bottle of good qualty pinot noir upon arrival. Great views. Fully equipped kitchen and great bathroom. Comfortable lounge area and very comfy bed. If I were being picky, it would be great if the roller blinds were electrically operated throughout and there was a clothes dryer to go with the washing machine. Spiral stairs to the mezzanine would help, and I think a new front door is probably overdue. Great stay though - a place I would highly recommend.

Very comfortable!

Close to the center, convenient location and comfortable. There was a kitchen and a washing machine and it was very helpful. The wine presented by AJ was very delicious. Mr. Matt took us to a tourist spot and was very helpful. I want to go to stay again. I didn't know how to garbage separation. I'm sorry, I didn't know how to contact the hotel.

Beautiful old church cleverly converted into luxury and cosy accommodation. A delicious Pinot Noir was waiting on our arrival which was most welcome. Easy parking straight outside the front door.

Unique Place to Stay in Fox Glacier

The Church is a very unique place. It was actually a small church building before being converted to a large one room rental with a kitchen. Upgrades are very modern including the kitchen. The Church is very close to the center of Fox Glacier, allowing you to walk to restaurants. Overall, we enjoyed staying at the Church and found it a very comfortable place to stay.
