"We had a wonderful weekend stay. The home is spacious and very well laid out. Our group loved to gather in the kitchen and main livingroom area and had a movie night on our second night in the basement, really great set up for a bigger group! Hot tub is a lovely bonus, we didn't have the chance to walk down to the lake but we enjoyed the view from the deck and dinning room. "On this occasion, we were in Nova Scotia for a family member’s Celebration of Life and decided to extend our visit by staying at the Beacon. It is a wonderful place, and we were very comfortable and especially enjoyed the ocean views. We also had a lovely family gathering, with a BBQ and dessert by the fire pit. The only drawback is the condition of the access road - hopefully for those who use it frequently it will be fixed! Thanks for everything!"

We found everything to be true to the listing if not better, and the stunning views from multiple directions made our stay even more memorable.
