"Nous avons passé un excellent séjour malgré une semaine assez pluvieuse. Le confort de ce gite, bien équipé, y a largement contribué. La chaleur du poêle à granulés a été appréciée au retour des randonnées parfois bien arrosées (par la pluie)."

The property was exactly as described; upon our arrival, everything was clean and just like in the pictures. The porch is a real plus, especially during the summer! On a less positive note, the beds are not the most comfortable, and if you plan on cooking, bring your kitchen utensils as there is only the bare minimum provided, which was a bit challenging for us as we love to...

Really characterful house with high ceilings and big windows decorated in a really relaxing modern style. The garden is great....basically completely walled and not overlooked at all. "Check in wasn't great - took 3 room changes to get the book ed twin room instead of a double. Restaurant was very good - good food with quick service. We enjoyed dinner and breakfast. Sadly our stay was spoiled by another hotel guest shouting and singing at 2am for about an hour. Eventually someone came to deal with it but our night's sleep was ruined. Also there were smokers in the non-smoking rooms which we could smell. "

WONDERFUL IN EVERY WAY

"We think that The Enchanted Sittelle is the perfect place to stay. The facilities are complete and as fo the setting and location, among forests and lakes, it couldn't be bettered. Our hosts, Christine and Bénigne, made us feel completely at home. Their welcome was warm and friendly and Christine explained how everything worked in the site so that we never had a problem with anything in the house. She also pointed us to some of the beautiful towns and villages, which we enjoyed visiting, and even enabled us to understand the different classifications of Comté cheese! Being so close to the A39, makes it easy to travel quickly around the region too, another good advantage of the location. We left some things behind and Christine kindly offered to post them to us, another good example of the excellent host she is. We hope to enjoy another stay there next year. In a word, it's Fabulous"."

"The hotel has historic elements mixed with the very modern and is extremely attractive. Our room was a little dated but was kept very clean and was much larger than average. The bathroom was spacious and had everything you need. The location is excellent - right in the centre of the village, and for wine lovers an easy walk to many producers for a tasting. By far the best thing about the property was Jesse (the receptionist), she was so friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to make our stay special. "

"Amazing property. We had a delightful two night stay. The only negative was the breakfast, which it is overpriced and you better wake up early or you risk not being even seen by the limited and overly busy attending personnel. The second day we sat at our table for more than 30 min unacknowledged. At that point we left and had breakfast at the local boulangerie."
