While the high-end furnishing and modern rustic décor are magazine-worthy, it's the view that steals the show! Cannon Mountain and Mt. Moosilauke stand majestically right in front of you, whether you admire them from the massive windows or the gorgeous decks.
The home is located just up the road from the beautiful Franconia Inn, which offers a plethora of activities including horseback riding, mountain biking, and trails. In season, across from the inn, you can even enjoy a glider ride to soak in the spectacular views! In the winter, the inn offers ice skating, tubing, snowshoeing, and cross-country skiing (NOTE - we are not affiliated with the inn and cannot guarantee the availability of any specific activity!). A short drive away, you will want to spend time enjoying the raw beauty of Franconia Notch, and explore its many hidden wonders - from The Basin to the Flume Gorge to stunning hikes such as Lonesome Lake or the more strenuous Franconia Ridge. And don't forget kid-friendly attractions such as Clark's Trading Post, Story Land, Santa's Village, and the Lost River Gorge - all great options for a day trip! In the winter, of course, you'll also want to spend some time at the popular ski resorts of Cannon Mountain, Loon, or Bretton Woods, or visit the fabled Ice Castles, all a short drive away.
With 2 completed levels (one more to come, not quite ready yet!), the home currently offers 4 bedrooms and 3.5 baths, with lots of living space, a game area with lots of fun games and activities, and even a popcorn machine! The fun doesn't end inside, though - with a crystal clear pond and a beautiful private setting surrounded by stunning mountains, you'll simply wish you had more time here - and with reliable internet, it's very easy to work remotely for a few days. Our rates get cheaper the longer you stay, and the area is full of things to do and explore- so why not? Short Term Rentals affect the neighbors and communities around them. We must do our duty to protect our local residents, our owners, our homes, and the communities around us. These house rules are designed to make sure we comply with regulations and identify inappropriate behaviors that may cause tensions with our neighbors and other visitors. We want you to have an extraordinary experience with us and we share these rules up-front so that you can make an informed decision. We appreciate your understanding and your help so that we can continue offering these amazing lodging options and ensure everyone has an enjoyable experience!
-Guest will be required to sign a rental agreement to comply with insurance requirements. You can view a sample agreement on our website.
-Check-in: Any time after 4 PM; Check-out: 11 am. Unauthorized early arrivals or late checkouts are subject to a $100/hr fee.
-Parking Limit: 4 Vehicles. Please contact Bretton Woods Vacations if you have any questions.
- No Pets and No Unauthorized Guests: Guest count must match the number in your reservation. Please let us know if the number has changed. Unauthorized pets or guests are subject to a $300 fee and immediate termination of your stay with no refunds. Absolutely NO PARTIES without express authorization
-Quiet Hours: From 10 p.m. to 8 a.m., please keep noise to a minimum. During the day, please make sure noise levels are low enough not to bother others, and never leave a barking dog unattended! No fireworks on the property. A $100 fee may be imposed for violations of these rules.
-No smoking inside the unit; $250 fee for violation.
-We are in Bear Country! No trash or food is to be left outside at any time; $100 fee for violations.
-Some of our homes are equipped with exterior cameras for security purposes.
-We have relaxed our cancellation policies. However, please note that there will be no exception to these policies, for no reason, no matter what the circumstances. Travel insurance is available on our website and from a variety of other sources; it is the traveler's responsibility to decide whether to protect their purchase or not. Due to contractual obligations with property owners, we will not be able to make any exceptions under any circumstances.
-Our homes are in rural locations in the North Country. We live in a beautiful environment surrounded by pristine natural habitats and share this land with a variety of animals. We do our best to ensure a proper balance between pest control and health concerns and appreciate your patience if a critter finds its way in. Our team is always available to come take care of it. To help prevent issues, please refrain from leaving doors propped open and avoid leaving food in open space which could attract rodents and/or insects.
- Rates are based on standard occupancy of 2 guests per bedroom. Additional guests, if allowed in the specific property, incur a $25/per person nightly surcharge. As long as the correct number of guests is provided at booking, this is included in the total rate shown at booking! Children under the age of 2 do not count toward occupancy.

This home is located in Franconia, just a couple of minutes from Cannon Mountain with its famed ski area and summer attractions, and right at the entrance of beautiful Franconia Notch State Park. Loon Mountain, Lincoln, and Bretton Woods are also conveniently located, each about 20 minutes away, offering award-winning spas, restaurants, and a myriad of activities, from Canopy Tours/Zip Lining to Rock climbing, River Tubing, Mountain Biking, to Golfing, Scenic Lift Rides, Disc Golf, Archery, Tennis, Fly Casting clinics, and Horseback riding, and moose tours. Santa's Village is also a short drive away. In the winter, you will enjoy both downhill and cross-country skiing at any of the nearby resorts, from Cannon, right next door, to Bretton Woods and Loon. But that's not all. In the heart of the White Mountains, this area is the perfect home base to explore the innumerable attractions that they offer: the Cog Rail, Santa's Village, Story Land, Clark's Trading Post, the Flume Gorge, Lost River, and more.
