"An absolutely amazing view awaits you here! So pretty and quiet and peaceful. House is extremely old and has character, but needs a little work. Very comfortable temperature, didn’t use the a/c. Excited to hear it had a Temperpedic mattress, but it was only full size."

"Clean comfortable room and so convenient. Great location for everything at the Sleeping Bear Dunes area. The Beach, restaurants, the National Park Service visitors center, convenient store and unique shopping experiences are all within walking distance. Not to far from Traverse City and Crystal Lake also. "

"I loved the proximity of the lake to our room. I do not know why we were given an accessible room that had handicapped parking in front. I made the mistake of parking in one and was confronted by the guest above me. She warned me it was a handicapped spot and that her inlaws needed that space. I moved my car. Other patrons parked there and did not have handicapped placard. I do not think the paint is bright enough to see. I feel terrible for taking a spot that i shouldnt have been in. I made sure to not do again."

"First time visit to Frankfort, on the way to Harbor Springs to meet family group. Hotel was great, people extremely nice and helpful, dinner at the restaurant was great too! We never moved our car for two days-walked everywhere-beach, marinas, restaurants, etc. We loved it!"

"I cannot recommend Mike's property highly enough. For two people who want to focus on time outdoors while having a place-that-feels-like-home, this is absolutely perfect. The thing that really shines through in this property is the focus on the details. We have all been in VRBOs or BNBs that feel thrown together with a disappointing/ inconvenient lack of necessities for a truly comfortable stay. The hosts and owners have gone above and beyond in considering and providing necessities (and luxuries) that are the cherry-on-top for travelers. From a well-equipped kitchen that allowed us to easily cook from home, to an outdoor box with firewood, kindling, chair cushions, and a rag to wipe them down if they're wet; everything is well thought out and clearly focuses on a comfortable and welcoming stay. While the space is compact, my partner and I were able to fully unpack each of our carry-ons and one oversized piece of luggage. This speaks to the thoughtful design of the space. Truly, every inch has a purpose. Finally, the thought the hosts put into giving this property privacy/separation was outstanding. We had our own driveway, parking, and a fence that made it feel like we had our own front yard.I have already told Mike that we will be back; my only hesitation in writing such a positive review is hoping that it won't be booked next time we want to come! "

"Wonderful cabin for the weekend. Very clean. Very convenient for both Lake Michigan beach and Beulah beach. Just five minutes from downtown Frankfort!! We’ll stay here again!"

"We started our Michigan vacation in Frankfort. Fun town. The house was AWESOME. It had all that we needed for our stay. Close to the beach and downtown restaurants/shops. Fire pit was an added bonus as was the hot tub. We have stayed in several VRBO properties over the years and this was the BEST stocked one ever. They had plenty of cooking utensils, plates, cooking supplies, towels, and other accessories. We will be headed back to Frankfort and to this property!"
