Noisy continuous running toilet. It worked sometimes if you jiggled the nob or took off back lid and released flapper. Several electrical plugs had no electricity to recharge IPhones. Clock did not work. TV remote was sticky! Could hear trucks from Main Street late at night.

When I got to the property and attempted to check in, there was no one at the front desk. I waited for at least 10 minutes and called the property on the phone several times but never got an answer. I almost called the local Police because I was afraid that something was seriously wrong. After getting to the room and turning the TV on i discovered that the e TV remote didn't work.I brought it back to the front desk and the attendant changed the batteries. So when I get back to the room, it still doesn't work. I then attempted to change the channels manually, but then I got nothing. No TV the rest of the night. Then I discovered the toilet didn't work properly. I had to perform maintenance on the water fill system. By then I was just disgusted and went to bed. One of the problems is that it's the only hotel in town. So if you stay in Franklin this is it.

Not a clean hotel!
This hotel is not an 8 rating. This has to be one of the worst hotels that we have ever experienced. First, the room has not seen an update since it was built in the 80's, or maybe 70's. The bed was so uncomfortable. We didn't get there until around 1am so we did not leave. We had to bite the bullet and stay. The worst part was when my daughter went in the bathroom and came right back out and said there are 3 roaches in there. We normally would leave, but it was so late and we'd been driving all day. We didn't unpack. We only saw roaches in the bathroom. The microwave and fridge are in there also. The whole room just felt not clean. We canceled the rest of our stay, and moved to a hotel in the next town. We needed to stay 3 nights. My in-laws also had the same problem but with empty beer bottles in the closet. Hotels.com understood and helped with getting a different hotel. Please avoid this hotel at all costs! I wish I could leave negative stars.

I have stayed a few times at this hotel, and while the staff is helpful, and attentive, the property itself is in need of renovations. Rooms are clean, and comfortable. Breakfast is outstanding. However, in the last two years, I have visited three times.. and the pool has NEVER been open. The website should be updated. There is no excuse not to have it open in JULY!
