Convenient location, interesting the employees were also seen at the various restaurants we went to. Our door of our room didn’t shut without lifting up on it heartily. Didn’t realize when we booked we would be going down the hall for bathroom and shower-somehow we missed reading that in the reservation

Mixing with other people in communal areas, free coffee machine, Brollies available for wet weather. Discount at partner restaurants was appreciated. Fans provided to help with the heat. However as our room was above the communal bathroom we were disturbed as people forgot to switch off the light/extractor fan when they left which caused noise and vibration of the fan in our room.

Extremely small and quite noisy. The community kitchen however was fantastic. I’m getting bit long in the tooth so maybe that why i limit my star rating. There is actually nothing wrong with this property for those who are flexible and want to economize.

We stayed here for one night, had one of the few quad rooms. Room had a kitchenette which was well equipped, property has a common dining and kitchen area with an espresso machine and popcorn maker. Fully kitted out with pots and pans, utensils and basic spices. Extra bathroom (shower) and toilet on the ground floor, gym area which we couldn't use due to limited time, BBQ area which also couldn't use due to bad weather. Would highly recommend staying here even if just for a night. Staff were friendly and service was excellent

Big and well-equipped kitchen area. Free popcorn and coffee. Overall clean, seating outside, nice lounge area. The walls a paper-thin and the staff was courteous, though seemed not too interested in being proactively helpful. WiFi connection was very slow and spotty, be sure to have data. The bathroom were quite cold I thought even though it wasn't winter. Overall, a pleasant experience at a reasonable rate.

We had booked via Expedia. First of all they gave one of our group the wrong room saying they could only stay one night then they figured it out and had to move. Then the next day they said we had to pay more. They backed down when I showed the booking email (again). Then to cap it off they said the bbq was available but when we came to use it it was not set up. We had bought food and everything. To be fair they did bring another bbq and we got set up. 3 other guests then came and used the bbq. Maybe they should have the set up !

Joy, at the front desk has been one of the most helpful and friendly people I have ever experience who checked me in to my accommodation. Added an extra nights stay with no hassle. I ended up saying 3 nights. Joy was professionally and very kind. I have experienced some rude nad dispissive front of house people. So this was such a refreshing contrasts. Nothing was too much bother. As a single female traveller she made my stay easy. Thank you Joy

We weren't expecting much from this lodge given the low price. But it hugely exceeded our expectations. On arrival at 7pm after a long drive, it was easy to find and park. The receptionist gave us a welcome that was so friendly and enthusiastic, it put most other hotels to shame. While the room was quite small and the bathroom shared (as we'd expected), it was nice and warm, giving us an instant boost on a cold night, and the bed was extremely comfortable. The location couldn't have been better, with a range of decent restaurants within a short walking distance. There was a large kitchen and common room area with free tea, coffee and popcorn, outside there was a hot tub you could use up till 10pm, and the atmosphere overall felt more like we were staying a high-end hotel than somewhere cheap, even though we'd paid just £28 for two people. I would heartily recommend this lodge.

Das gesamte Hotel war an sich sehr modern eingerichtet mit Liebe zu Details und einem guten Auge für Farben. Der Kamin war sehr schön und es hingen sehr schöne Bilder an den Wänden. Im Außenbereich gab es Sport- und Spielmöglichkeiten. Der Essbereich schien ordentlich und sauber. Super fanden wir, dass es kostenloses Popkorn im Küchenbereich gab. Wir hatten ein Studio mit Bergblick und einem Bad. Die Zimmergröße war gut, das Zimmer war sauber und ordentlich und sehr liebevoll gestaltet (die Möbel, Bilder und Farben passten gut zusammen, man hat gesehen, dass sich hier jemand Gedanken gemacht hat). Das Bad war leider recht klein und das Waschbecken wirklich winzig. Es gab dort kaum Ablagemöglichkeiten. In der Küchenzeile war alles Nötige vorhanden. Leider lag das Zimmer im Dachgeschloss (3. Stock), was recht warm war und man musste das ganze Gepäck über die Treppen hochtragen. In den unteren Bereichen scheinen nur Zimmer mit Gemeinschaftsbädern zu liegen. Was leider nachts gar nicht ging war, dass man ein lautes Geräusch und direkt neben dem Bett ein Vibrieren gehört/gemerkt. Auf das Problem mit dem Lärm im Zimmer wurde freundlich und kompetent reagiert. Leider sind nur wenige kostenlose Parkplätze direkt an der Unterkunft vorhanden, ggf. muss man an der Straße parken. Das Hotel hat eine gute Ausgangslage für Ausflüge zum Franz Josef oder Fox Glacier. Wir haben einen Frühstücksgutschein für ein Café in der Nähe erhalten. Die Auswahl (á la carte) sowie das Essen waren sehr gut.
