The pool is lovely - a great size, clean, heated and in a lovely setting. The location is beautiful, in the grounds of the chateau, and we enjoyed eating at the large table outside under the tree. The hosts were very friendly and helpful - thank you! In terms of eating out, we had a really delicious meal at the restaurant Aux Trois Pastoureaux...

"Très belle maison avec tout le confort nécessaire, jeux, télé, internet, chambre spacieuse avec salle de bain, piscine propre, très grand jardin...les.proprietaires sont tres accueillants et réactifs, très discret mais à la moindre demande ils sont présent pour nous. Tout est à proximité à moins de 10min. Très calme et chaleureux pour cette maison je met un 9/10 sans hésiter. The hotel was easily accessed, with a large secure parking area Very welcoming with a comfortable room and a good breakfast was available. There is a very large Le Clerc close by with a restaurant which provided a good evening meal and an opportunity to get items to take home. "

"The room smelt of cigarette smoke and it was obviously a know issues as the window had been open as the room temperature was the same as out side. Other than that the staff were amazing and made my visit a pleasure. Warm smiles and welcoming whenever I passed, Even before I informed them of my problem. "I reserved this room because Expedia lists it as having AC. We stayed in Sept and there was no AC. Were told by the desk they turn it off in the fall. Expedia needs to specify this hotel may not have AC depending on the whim of the owner. Windows open with rain, bad weather, traffic and no bug screens. Pass on to another hotel with accurate description. "

A fantastic week!

"We had a fantastic week staying at the gite. We were a party of 8 and we had plenty of room - having two separate houses also worked really well for us. The pool is lovely - a great size, clean, heated and in a lovely setting. The location is beautiful, in the grounds of the chateau, and we enjoyed eating at the large table outside under the tree. The hosts were very friendly and helpful - thank you! In terms of eating out, we had a really delicious meal at the restaurant Aux Trois Pastoureaux in Chateaudun which is about 20 mins drive away - would highly recommend. All in all we had an amazing week and would love to go back at some point."
