"The Blue Heron Cottage was an excellent stay for my family. While small, the property was big enough for us and two kids. The cottage itself inside was pretty new all around. The only thing that needs updating would be the shower. Full kitchen with oven and fridge was nice. Beds comfy. Property good for kids and a dog if you have one. The best part was the location. A block from the bay and three from the river. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you for having us!"

"The 1840’s cabin was perfect. Everything worked well, it was clean and very comfortable. The host was very kind and responsive to our needs. During the stay I recognized that our last names were the same and he told his mother after we spoke. The next day Carol Ann (host’s mother) and I spoke about genealogy and before we left through her research we found out we were related. What a surprise!
