"After two long nights at the hospital, we jist needed somewhere to crash for the night. The hotel was close and affordable. The young man who greeted me created "magic" (his words) by getting me a room on the ground floor to avoid stairs for us. He offered snacks (free) and we walked in to an immaculate room. Bed was comfortable, room was quiet and we slept.like.babies. You wont be disappointed!"

I like the Coral Reef because it's local, it's close to everything (it's a small Island), and it has a workable kitchen as well. It was PERFECT for what we needed. "My husband and I had previously stayed at the cottage. John and Arthur are great hosts! Helped me with restaurant ideas for a surprise birthday gathering for our daughter. Everything you need is provided and if you have a question or request it is answered promptly. Lovely setting, 3 min. walk to downtown Alameda to shops and restaurants. We enjoyed the beautiful, peaceful garden with lounge chairs provided. Canaries singing and a koi pond. All in all, a great stay! "
