"The rooms were clean, the property is clean also. My dislikes were on the first night that I stayed the hit water didn’t work and when I spoke with staff about it. She responded with a raised tone. There were ants in the bathroom and I was told to use the spray in the cabinet. I also didn’t have complimentary water in my second room. I was told to purchase water at the bar. My last night of stay, I requested blankets (there aren’t any in the room or on the beds). I was advised by Ophelia that she couldn’t go get me any and that housekeeping was not available. I basically froze through the night"

"The actual resort was beautiful but other than the pool and beach, there was nothing else to do. The food was okay. This is not a great travel destination for Americans, unless fluent in French. The American was flying inverted, which made us stay at the resort and not travel outside. Overall, pretty resort and that is the only positive I can provide."

"We stayed here four nights before catching a sailing ship. While not luxurious, this hotel was perfect for our needs. The decor was dated but everything in the room was clean. Sheets clean. The mattress was a little firmer than I prefer but fine for short term. No hot water in the kitchen sink or bathroom sink but the hot water and water pressure in shower were wonderful. Daily maid service. Kitchenette had cups, plates, utensils. Bring your own coffee. We brought cone fillets but there were some in room. Fridge kept things cold. No I’ve machine on floor but when asked the clerk got me a small ice bucket full. The pool was clean and refreshing. Desk clerks responded quickly to any requests. It is in a neighborhood. The Marigot market is 0.8 miles away to walk. It took a couple of tries to find best, quickest route. From front door - turn right for a cute bakery open till 6p. From front door go left to a grocery store with plenty of snacks, drinks. Go left to walk to town and follow road to main thoroughfare, go left, then right at Rue de Republic. Then straight to waterfront, market and restaurants. We pulled our suitcases to waterfront to catch boat. It was bumpy but fine. You could take a taxi. Probably 10 euro. "
