"The room was very clean. The food from the restaurant buffet was very good. The natural beauty of the area was outstanding. I enjoyed the balcony quite a bit. It was also very enjoyable to have an onsite bar. The room and hotel could stand some updates, but, of course, it is a state park and all that depends on state funds. "The grounds to this cabin is fantastic. If you like to hike, this place is loaded with trails on site. My son and I woke up early and hiked up a mountain (elephant arch) and had gorgeous views. If you’re into an affordable place this is the one. If you’re looking for primitive with electricity and an outhouse this is for you. "

"The only thing I didn't like is the size of the cabin. The pictures make it look far bigger than what it actually was. I thought it would be a lot bigger. Also, the booking description I received stated the cabins would be supplied with bath towels, washcloths, hand and dish towels, and 2-3 trash bags. Unfortunately, none of those things, except for bed linens, as well as hand soap and rolls of toilet paper in the bathroom, were available for use. "

"Great accommodations. Domes were neat and clean. Other guests were very polite and friendly. Parking a little tight and no water available in the individual domes. We like rough camping so carrying water was no problem. Given our age, we struggled a little with getting gear and supplies up into the canopy, this would be a great place to bring some extended family. We will brag about the experience for a few years."

"Super cute tiny cabin with communal fire area and the Red River across the street. It was exactly what we wanted. My only complaint would be that the bathroom could use some attention. I think there is a mold issue and it looks like y’all gave up when you got to the space behind the shower. I would rent again, though. I can bring my tools and some lumber with me. Maybe we can trade work for a stay? 😉😉"

"We rented the Red roof cabin at Lago Linda. It was very clean and comfortable. We had some rain but the huge porch and metal roof made it very nice. The staff are nice and very helpful. Our grill was low on gas. A nice guy brought us more. He wasn’t happy with one burner that was weak. He left and within 30 mins was back with another grill. They really do go above and beyond for their guests. I will be coming back. "
