Lovely hotel on the way to SW France

Stopped off here on the way to Gironde, just 15 minutes off the motorway. (Alencon) Picturesque 1900 hotel in small village with seating area on pavement if good weather. Very warm & pleasant welcome from the manager who speaks very good English, nice salad evening meal & croissant, rolls, fresh fruit salad for breakfast at very reasonable cost. Nice & clean although dated. The only small thing stopping me awarding max points was shower was very weak water flow. Would definitely return however.

mais ou est donc la climatisation annoncé !!! ???

accueil sympathique , chambre petite au 1er étage (n°6) et sans la clim annoncé... avec la route passante juste devant la fenêtre ouverte car très chaud.. pas facile de dormir ! le repas du soir était très bien servis avec un buffet d'entrée

Muy bueno hotel, entrada y salas de desayuno y cena muy agradable. Ambiente muy tranquilo y de calidad. La cena tipo buffet esta muy rica y de muy buen precio. El dueño esta altento a su clientela. Recomiendo este hotel muy buen trato.

Needs complete refurbishment-a disappointing stay.

Very pleasant owner, helpful and speaks good English. The room was plenty big enough and had a good shower. Situated in a lovely little town. Free Wifi. Unfortunately, that's where the good points end. We are not "fussy" types-used to roughing it, but this stay was disappointing. The hotel is VERY tired, and in need of a complete refurbishment really. The rooms are dated and shabby, the linen was threadbare, the bed worn out and the worst part was the carpet which was heavily and disgustingly stained. As it is out of season, the restaurant is closed and no food available at all. The only meals in the town are either chinese or kebab. (The chinese was very good, however.) We wouldn't stay here again, particularly as it was the same price as our other (FAR better) hotel stays on this trip.

Accueil super sympa,le proprio est de bons conseils au nouvel arrivant pour les visites à faire, le menu du soir est simple et bon. Il y a seulement la présentation de l'établissement qui est vraiment vieux.

Nur eine Nacht :-( Kann nicht so viel sagen Wir sind Nacht angereist. Der Mann an der Rezeption hat nur auf uns gewartet, obwohl wir viel Spät unterwegs waren. Der hat uns auch geholfen Sachen dort zu finden. Sehr nett Frühstuck völlig in Ordnung, Lecker und ausreichend. Mit mehr Kosten aber es hat sich gelohnt.

FRESNAY ma ville

Bref séjour d'une nuit pour retrouver la ville ou je suis née. Accueil chaleureux, chambre très correcte et service resto impeccable. Hôtel à recommander.
