"It is a really nice place to stay, we loved the atmosphere and the trust the owners gave with their hospitality made us feel right at home ☺️ Our little one (2 years old) enjoyed feeding the neighbors chickens every evening and all the toys that were available! In the morning we would explore the area around Chacrise (such as Donjon de Septmonts and the Chemin des Dames route with the Caverne du Dragon or visit some of the Champagne houses near Reims) and in the afternoon were able to relax...

"Nous sommes venues à 9 pour un enterrement de vie de jeune fille. Nous avons passé un agréable week-end entre filles. Nous avons pu profiter du jardin pour faire de jolie photo inoubliable. "This Gite is one of our favorites and it was the second time we’ve stayed there. The owners are lovely and so accommodating. They provide more than you need for a comfortable vacation and true French experience. For all of you history buffs, it’s only one town over from Belleau a huge WWI site (battle of Belleau Bois). It’s so close to Paris however there’s no reason to go there since there’s so much to do in this region alone. You must have a car to enjoy but that’s true of the countryside....

"Very neat old house in the garden of the abbey and next to the house of the property owner. Very warm welcome, great parking spot for the car and walking distance to the local boulangerie and shops. Good location for champagne wine tours. The towns (Essome-sur-Marne as well as Chateau-Thierry) are not as lovely as the small villages on the Montagne de Reims. Great walking routes in the area with lots of WWI and WWII historical sites."

Ne vous fiez pas à la description car ce n’est pas ressemblant, la « pièce de jeu » n’était pas à notre disposition, l’enceinte à utiliser obligatoirement ne fonctionne pas et pour finir certaines choses ne sont pas aux normes (pas de détecteur de fumé, mur de la « discothèque » qui se désintègre…) Bon courage si vous réservez en hiver, vous serez...
