Welcome to TruNorthwest Retreat San Juan Island. Nestled in the woods on 4 acres, but only a couple miles from Friday Harbor, this newly renovated home boasts timeless elegance and modern comfort.

The split-level spacious layout features multiple living areas with separate entrances, ideal for single or multi-family use. Perfect for family reunions, small weddings, or work retreats.

The gourmet kitchen, adorned with stainless appliances and butcher block countertops, is a culinary enthusiast's haven.

The tranquil bedrooms offer serene escapes, while the luxurious bathrooms exude a spa-like ambiance. Both floors boast 2 bedrooms, bathroom, and relaxing living room to kick up your feet and read or watch TV.

The upstairs living room has a fireplace and close to kitchen and dining area. The downstairs living/bonus room includes a work space and plenty of room for the kids to play.

Step outside and enjoy outdoor activities and play fetch with your dog, gather around the large fire pit, or relax in the brand new Evergreen 6-person Softub.

The 4-acre expansive grounds invite exploration, with garden, meadow and towering trees. A laundry room, multiple indoor & outdoor games and Wi-Fi are all provided.

House can accommodate 8 guest comfortably and up to 12 with futon, sofa bed, and cot. 8 guests are included in base nightly rate and each additional guest is $15 per night.

RV parking and tent camping/glamping are available upon request. Two kayaks, crab traps, picnic basket and Yeti cooler are also available for your use. We have a limited supply of firewood for the fire pit.

Great place to stay, close to town but not right in it.
Our construction crew stayed at the house while working on a street project. They enjoyed the hot tub, board games and all the other stuff available. Plenty of hot water, towels and blankets! Enough room for everyone to have their own space.

A blissful slice of heaven!
This was truly the perfect vacation spot! Gorgeous fixtures and decor inside paired with the idyllic, countryside feel outside made for such a relaxing time. We saw a buck right when we arrived, and took our time out on the patio just enjoying the scenery. Lots of places to relax, including a very nice hot tub and fire pit for s'mores. It was pretty close to town, so we were able to look around and shop very easily. We recommend this getaway to anyone who might want some time relaxing in nature!

Great secluded stay close to Friday Harbor
We love Friday Harbor and this was a great place for our family who was in town for graduation. The space worked great for three adults and three kids (and it could hold more)- we felt very spread out and really enjoyed how nice the home is. The property is at the end of a gravel road that is well-maintained (but a bit narrow so drive slowly) so you really do feel out in the country (yet you are back in Friday Harbor in 10 minutes). It is extremely peaceful, with nice relaxing mornings with deer roaming around in the morning. Such a great setting. The upstairs is relaxing with a nice kitchen and living room/sitting area, with nice views of the property out the upstairs windows. There is a little game room space downstairs before heading down the hall to the downstairs bedrooms. It is a great layout. There are also some fun things to see/do on the property - hot tub, garden, nice tent, firepit with sitting area, etc. Highly recommend. Well maintained and very relaxing. I do recommend trying to arrive during the daylight as the gravel road could be confusing that leads there at night (but you will get there, don't worry and after you navigate it once, it is a breeze).

Great for families & groups
Lovely house about 3 miles from Friday Harbor. Six of us were on bicycles and had a car to carry our luggage. The house was very comfortable, the spacious kitchen worked well and the hot tub was a welcome feature after our rides. There were plenty of towels, blankets & pillows for everyone. The house sits at the end of the road so it is very private & quiet. We had to ride some gravel to the main road but is was hard packed which made it easy. The host was quick to respond to all our questions. I definitely recommend it!

Spacious hidden gem in the middle of the island in Friday Harbor. House is cute, nicely remodeled and fit 6 adults and a toddler easily. The owner had some issues with the check in process, but once that was cleared up it was a great experience. Hot tub and campfire outside in the middle of the woods is exactly what we wanted!

Overall everything was great. Only issue we had was when we had too many lights on we kept throwing a breaker. Heaters were a little inconvenient and the kitchen faucet, you’re right you either love it or hate it. We did notice other dogs around the yard. Beautiful, peaceful location
We stayed at the house with some extended family while we were on the island for an event. Beds were comfortable, house was very clean and kitchen well equipped. Would definitely recommend. Downstairs bedroom TV didn’t seem to be hooked up to anything but wasn’t a big deal—just FYI for the property manager. Really peaceful setting about a 10 minute drive from town. You will definitely need a car.

San Juan Island in September
We were 3 women friends who had never visited the islands. We loved the house and the amenities provided. We found the kitchen had nice appliances and dishes. The beds were comfortable and the towels and linens were wonderful. Our only suggestion would be to have some kind of window coverings in the upstairs bedrooms. I know some people like it open. There are only deer outside the land around the house! We would recommend this house. You do need to have a car which we rented in Seattle. Thank you Lesley and Christy.

This property has tons of promise, great location and personal touches in the decor. Well stocked kitchen, great yard for the dogs. The cleaners were there after check in time and let in bugs and some cleaning to be desired but the property owners were quite responsive to problems that arose.

This was a great space for our family gathering. Two separate floors with plenty of beds (including bunk beds for the kids). It was spacious, clean, and fully stocked with everything we needed. The owner was very responsive and always communicated in a timely manner. The location was also great as it was just a short drive to Friday Harbor and other attractions around the island. Highly recommend.
