The front door was hard to open. Didn't have a code and used credit card to swipe. Swipe reader didn't work properly, had to stand in the dark for quite a while to get in. Other than that it was a fantastic experience, very clean and comfortable. Washer, dryer and bicycle usage is convenient and you can walk to city center. Will definitely visit again.

Zimmer war sauber, recht klein und ohne Nachtisch. Für zwei Personen wäre das Bett definitiv zu klein gewesen. Dafür gab es elektrische Rolladen und die kleine Küche erlaubt Tee zu kochen. Für mehr ist kein Platz.

Normales Hotel mit guter Ausstattung. Leider hat der Eintritt mit meiner Visa Debit nicht funktioniert. Die Eingabe am Terminal war durch das nicht genau funktionierende Touch-Display langwierig. Rechnung kam nicht, weil der Drucker wohl defekt war. Das haben auch andere Gäste im Treppenhaus bestätigt.

Die Zimmer sind verhältnismäßig klein, aber ausreichend. Es gibt keinen Aufzug, man muss seine Koffer also selbst durch das Treppenhaus schleppen, was in den oberen Stockwerken nerven kann. Vor Ort ist niemand, daher alles vom Automaten abhängig. Insgesamt hat das gut geklappt, aber mit der Zimmerkarte nicht die Tür zur Straße öffnen zu können hat genervt (dazu braucht man eine EC-Karte). Auch ist das Treppenhaus sehr hellhörig, und die mit Schmackes zudonnernde Haus- als auch die Zimmertüren können einen bei späten Anreisen schon nerven. Ansonsten alles sehr sauber, und das Reinigungspersonal freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Leider mangelhafter Roomservice

Dies war nicht unser erster Besuch im LuxStay; leider gab es wieder Probleme mit dem Zimmerservice. Wir haben sonntags um 10:45 das Hotelzimmer verlassen und das Schild bitte Zimmer aufräumen rausgehangen. Offenbar war nach dieser Zeit niemand mehr vom Service im Hotel, der sich darum gekümmert hätte.

Absolut zweckmässig aber Mängel im Service

Auch wenn man berücksichtigt, dass es sich um eine Unterkunft ohne Rezeption und im weitgehenden Self Service handelt, dürfte es etwas mehr an Restservice sein. Check-in problemlos. Parkplatz (6 vorhanden ) war immer verfügbar. Leider wurde bei der Reinigung der Zimmer zB nicht Duschgel/Shampoo erneuert. Bei einem Anruf beim Vermieter vor Buchung wurde teilweise eine Fehlauskunft erteilt. Bilder tw irreführend (kein Tisch fürs Frühstück im Zimmer verfügbar, wie abgebildet. Zugang zur Gemeinschaftsküche problemlos. Leider mangelte es hier tw an der Sauberkeit. So waren die Bleche für den Backofen schon recht unappetitlich und mit alter/gebrauchter Alufolie in den Schrank geräumt.

Nice and clean hotel

The hotel was nice and mostly quitet. I can't comment how it is on peak time. The hotel seems to be quite new and everything is in really good condition. There is free parking but the parking yard is built quite inconveniently so you might have problems with a big car. There are two bicycles that can be borrowed, which is really nice.

Good service overall, good value for money

A bit noisy because of the proximity to the entrance. Sound proofing not the best. You can hear everything in the corridor. The self-service check-in works but the system not perfect.... a bit slow sometimes

Einmal und nie wieder!

Für 2 Personen gebucht, leider musste ich dann alleine dort wohnen, meine Frau musste anderweitig untergebracht werden: Das Appartement war im 4. Stock, ohne Aufzug. Das Bett ist für 2 Personen nicht breit genug. Die Dusche hatte keine Anti-Rutschmatte und war sehr glatt. Um die Wärme im Zimmer zu regulieren, musste man zwischen Bett und Wand (ca. 40 cm) kriechen um an das Heizkörperventil zu kommen, welches sich unten am Heizkörper, hinter dem Nachttisch befand. Am ersten Abend kein Fernsehen, denn bei Ankunft waren die Batterien der Fernbedienung für den Fernseher leer. Das war wohl bekannt, die erforderlichen AA Batterien waren dann am 2. Tag da. Auf der Hotelseite stand "kostenlose Parkplätze", die gab es auch. 6 schmale Parkplätze für 16 Appartments. Da kann man sich selbst ausrechnen, wie hoch die Chance ist einen Parkplatz zu bekommen. Die empfohlene Alternative ist das nahe gelegene Parkdeck (da habe ich dann nochmal 6 € für die erste Nacht gezahlt). Okay war die sonstige Einrichtung der Zimmer und der Gemeinschaftsküche, sowie die Sauberkeit.

Das Zimmer hatte eine wirklich gute Qualität. Dennoch störte uns das sehr schmale Doppelbett mit einer Matratze. Schade war auch, dass wir fast nicht mehr ins Haus gekommen wären, da wir die Zugangsnummer nicht auswendig gelernt hatten. Wenn das mit der Karte gegangen wäre, wäre das gut gewesen. Auch der kaputte Duschhalter störte letztlich nicht.

Angenehmer Aufenthalt im Herzen von Friedberg

Es war ein schöner Aufenthalt im Herzen von Friedberg. Das Zimmer war korrekt, gut eingerichtet, klein aber trotzdem komfortabel. Einziger Kritikpunkt: das relativ schmale Bett war etwas "ausgelegen" und die Auflage über der Matratze hatte die Tendenz, einen nach aussen hin abrutschen zu lassen. Wahrscheinlich ist das Bett mehr für eine Benutzung durch eine statt durch 2 Personen ausgelegt. Dabei hatte ich bereits die etwas teurere Zimmer-Kategorie gewählt in der Hoffnung, dort ein etwas grösseres Bett vorzufinden. Positiv zu vermerken: Die Sauberkeit des Zimmers, die liebevollen Details in der Einrichtung und die Parkmöglichkeit direkt am Hotel.
