"A very pleasant village pub, in an interesting and historic village. The room, on the top floor, was spacious, with a decent bathroom. What was lacking in the room was decent lighting: a single, low-powered LED filament bulb was completely inadequate if you wanted to sit and read. Although breakfast choices were very good, service was slow on both mornings. All in all, rather pricey for the accommodation & service provided."
