Only gripe is there were some small stains in the Washitsu room. Still clean, I just noticed those stains were there. All in all, a great place to stay at. Check in and out were super easy"

About a 10min walk to the train station and a short wall to a bus stop and family mart. It is a walk up so you will need to climb stairs to your unit. "The staff was very welcoming, and the property was clean. The amenities are great - drinks in the lobby, popsicles and yogurt drinks at the onsen, ramen noodles and toiletries as needed. We found the onsen to nice but very busy at times, so we tried to go when we thought less people would be there. Breakfast was wonderful! Our daughter’s loved the matcha and hot chocolate. In Japan you most likely need to book kids over the age of 13 as an adult. Double check with the property details on this."

"Firstly, this was a beautiful hotel. However, my main reason for loving it was that I actually left a backpack at the Starbucks next door and had left for Tokyo. I do not speak Japanese and I was leaving Japan 3 days later. The hotel staff actually helped me contact Starbucks to retrieve it and arranged for it to be shipped to my next hotel in a day and a half! Amazing service. I couldn’t thank them enough for being so awesome. "
