"Had a wonderful stay that was kicked off with a glass of bubbles on arrival which was a lovely touch. Staff were excellent & attentive. Only a couple of minor things to mention, an air vent above the shower very dusty & the entrance/exit to the lift in the car park could do with a lick of paint/refresh. Like I said minor but could help to bring the standard up. Really had a lovely time."

"Excellent second stay here - clean rooms and safe area. Understaffed at check in meant huge queues every time we visited reception - sometimes 5 people deep and it was a very slow check in and process to get questions answered when we revisited reception. Felt Like they were understaffed for the full Occupancy but all staff were v helpful "

"Property has been totally renovated in an Art Nouveau/Deco style with the finishes across the entire hotel of a very high standard. "We had a good stay at the Oval. The room was spacious and clean and breakfast was good which we can see the Oval from the restaurant. However Kelly who checked us in was not friendly. Not sure she should be working in hospitality as we thought we were dealing with a robot who have no facial expression and no warmth in her tone and can't even smile. The rest of the staff were all friendly with a lovely smile on their face which makes up the bad experience we have encountered initially....
