"Lovely cottage in a working banana plantation. Good area close to all amenities and several good restaurants. Property is gated so safe and quiet. Good communications from owners. If going on day trips the property is difficult to stop outside so better to arrange pick-up from hotel just down the road. Not great for anyone who lacks mobility."

"The property was as described and provided a very comfortable base. The property is within easy walking distance of Funchal city centre and the restaurants and amenities of the Lido area. Please be aware though that, if you have any mobility or respiratory issues, it is a steep walk back!
