My wife and I truly loved staying at the Aldrich House. The service was top notch!! Great conversations, great breakfast! Very clean and tidy! Owners went over and above to please. Also had a great happy hour in screen porch area. Richard and Douglas were the Bomb!! Would definitely like to do again soon.

We were completely amazed by our stay in Galena ! Our hosts, Robert and Douglas were wonderful to visit with, experts at the Galena history, restaurants and activities in and around Galena. Our daily breakfasts were all made with fresh ingredients expertly prepared! Cocktail hour was just as exceptional. Our room was beautiful, impeccably clean, with a beautiful view of their many flower gardens. The house was well laid out with many options for relaxation. All of our fellow guests were wowed by their stay, we all voiced the exceptional service, beautiful breakfasts and witty conversation with our hosts. I will always remember what a warm and inviting visit we enjoyed with Robert and Douglas. Thank you so much!

The innkeepers had luxury hotel experience from Chicago and it showed. Place was beautiful, perfectly maintained. Service was impeccable. Breakfast was delicious. They think of everything. There are even things to purchase, like bottles of wine, even though it's a B & B.

Comfortable room, great breakfasts, and tasty drinks each evening. And, the owners were friendly and interesting to talk with. Also a convenient location - just a ten minute walk to Main Street. Very nice BnB in a very cute town.

The hosts were very friendly & interactive. The home was beautiful and the history of the house was interesting. The accommodations were perfect. Chose the Aldrich Guest House due to location being a short walk to Galena's Main Street. Robert and Douglas were welcoming and helpful. Breakfasts both days really highlighted their creativity. Really interesting cocktails in afternoon with a blend of ingredients not always available in a bar. Afternoon appetizers and drinks were held on the patio with an excellent opportunity to socialize with other guests. Highlight of the trip was the stay at the Aldrich Guest House. Our next trip to Galena will definitely include staying at the Aldrich Guest House.

Douglas and Robert are excellent hosts and very informative about the food and entertainment options around Galena. The house was remodeled by them a few years ago and I was very appreciative of all the work they put in to get such a fine result. The original owners of the Aldrich House would be amazed at how well the place was restored. A very good breakfast was served out on the porch. My wife and I enjoyed the time we spent there Thumbs up!
