Optimize family time with our fun activities including bumper pool, puzzles, board games and a giant Jenga set! This 4 bedroom townhome is nestled on a corner lot with plenty of trees for privacy. Bring your binoculars to search out the abundant bird calls that will greet you each morning! Or unwind with a comfy fire on the upper deck. A full bathroom and queen size bedroom are located on each of the three levels, with a fourth bedroom on the lower level. Main level offers a well appointed kitchen, family room, and dining area with extended seating available. Lower level offers a game room, two bedrooms (one with bunk beds), laundry facilities, and deck. Upper level offers the best bedroom view, you’ll feel like your sleeping in the trees! Great WIFI connection & cable TV, Netflix, & Hulu are available. Please note that it is a bit of a walk from the parking lot to our unit. Our home is not suitable for those with mobility challenges.

Amenities include indoor pool, tennis & pickle ball courts, fitness center and game room (pool & ping pong tables). Fee based amenities include boat rentals on Lake Galena, horse back riding and 4 on site golf courses.the discounted rate.

Wedding week
We came and stayed for our daughter’s wedding at Ashton Hill Farms. It was only 10 min away. The place was updated and very spacious! It was perfect for everyone to stay and hang out! We loved this place!! Would definitely stay again!!!

College Friends Get-Together
The house was extremely clean, well stocked with enough kitchen equipment and supplies, and big enough that we all had our own space. It was great to get together, but it was also the perfect setting for us to rest and relax! We all talked about how we would love to come back in the future!

Beautiful Time
Excellent spot to stay and reconnect with family! Really enjoyed having time together, played games, shopped, hiked and ate. Scenery abounds and we thoroughly enjoyed the wildlife. The rental was clean and well maintained. Very user friendly and well stocked with plenty of kitchen options, pillows, blankets, games etc. Well equipped in all areas! Such a wonderful stay! Would rent again without question.

The group of 8 of us thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this VRBO. The check in and out process was simple, communication with the home owner was was great, and the property is beautiful. The location of the home is approximately 15 minutes from Main St. in Galena. The only complaint that each of us had in the group were the comfort of the beds. All of us felt as if the beds were extremely hard and uncomfortable. We believe that each bed in the home would benefit from a foam mattress topper - this way it can be removed if someone prefers a harder mattress.

Great girls weekend
We stayed here for a girls weekend and it was perfect! We felt safe and comfortable during our stay. We loved being able to wake up and sit on the back porch, relax and watch the birds. It was about a 15 minute drive from downtown Galena. DThe place was very clean but there were some dead bugs on the couch and floor when we arrived. I can’t dock them stars because it is an outdoorsy area so it’s to be expected. Would stay here again. Thank you!!

Easily accessible and comfortable property.
The property had been updated. Comfortable but a little small for 5 adults and 3 high school aged teens. Sleeping accommodations didn’t quite fit but other than that, was quite comfortable. Very clean. Host was easily accessible.

Fun times!
We had a great time and the ease of finding this property and accessing it was great! The property was secluded and comfortable. Very clean and had everything we needed. We had six of us staying at the property and with four bedrooms and three baths, they’re was plenty of privacy. Only 10 minites from downtown Galena! Thank you and I would recommend it to everyone.

Great winter escape
Our family had a wonderful stay at this property and truly enjoyed the winter activities of the Galena area. The owner was helpful in every step of the process and the home was lovely- the bumper pool was a hit with the kids! Recommend reserving activities at the association far in advance (due to COVID restrictions), but the owner's help with that was outstanding.

Bachelorette bash success!
Stayed here with 6 other gals for a bachelorette party. We were planning something very low key and this property was perfect! We did minimal decorating and had 2 meals at the home. The kitchen was stocked with all of the basics plus more to make a meal or two. Check in was super easy. Communication was top notch. We all truly enjoyed our stay!

Only one minor blip. When we got there one of the beds in the basement didn't have sheets on it. Found the wet sheets AND bath towels, wash cloths, hand towels all wet in the dryer. Since we didn't get there till late and we were all tired, it was an inconvenience to have to dry the bedding before we could use that bed.

This was one of the BEST trips EVER!!!

Beautiful countryside location
Absolutely loved being tucked away in the wooded area. The proximity to Galena made it perfect and affordable. We enjoyed weekend of shopping and great food! The house is as described with living room seating for a maximum of 5 and adjacent dining table if needed. We saw the game room but didn’t play games. We also didn’t partake in the clubhouse but would have if we had time. Being box elder bug season we understood and continually kept up with eradicating them throughout the house. Very nice updated rooms, kitchen, showers etc and very pretty! We would return again as we didn’t get to do everything we wanted in town between check in Friday and check out Sunday. Great stay overall!!

Nice Location
Very nice updated townhouse with cute decor and beautiful views. Could have had a once over as far as cleaning before we came, there were a lot of dead bugs and debris on the floors as well as some other things, but overall the stay was comfortable and the location was very convenient and beautiful location. The only trash bags provided were small thin ones usually used for small trash cans like bathrooms so if you are bringing food/drinks in that would create a lot of trash, I would bring your own full-size trash bags. Some bathrooms had soap & shampoo provided which was a nice touch and bird feed to encourage some visits from our feathered friends. Rooms were warm and comfortable and bedding was clean. Access was quick and easy!

Our stay was a disappointment, The bathrooms were not cleaned, the towels were dirty and WE had to wash them. The sheets were not changed and they were put on upside down, but the worst part was they had blood on them, Yuck! The owner was sympathetic - and offered to have the cleaning service come back. But since we were only ther for that day it would have been an inconvenience. We paid a cleaning fee which was more than we received value for. Would NOT go back.
