Openings September 23 through September 31st. Enjoy a relaxing FALL getaway in THE GALENA TERRITORY, Eagle Ridge Resort and Spa and the charming Civil War era historic town of Galena, IL. Up to 10 guests, 3 levels, 4 bedrooms (one queen sleeper). Master bedroom with loft, whirlpool tub and separate shower, 2 gathering rooms, 4 bath home, pool table & year-round outdoor hot tub, and firepit!
The Longwood Hideaway: a beautifully decorated 4 Bedroom, 4 bath, 3100 sq. ft. Cape Cod home with vaulted ceilings and massive river rock fireplace. Enter the vaulted great room and large open kitchen plan with island, for entertaining friends and family. Located in the heart of the Resort Core of the 6,800 acres Galena Territories / Eagle Ridge Resort and Spa, with 63 holes of championship golf, boating and fishing on Lake Galena, riding stables, and free use of The Territories Club (indoor/outdoor pools, fitness, and dining). Beautiful, secluded forest lot with ample parking. Have happy hour on the large, screened porch or on the walk-out deck with gas grill. Relax and enjoy the hot tub after a day of golfing, sightseeing, wineries, skiing -exploring all that Galena has to offer. The Longwood Hideaway has new owners who are committed to continuing the wonderful experiences of the Longwood Hideaway.

Great house and location in Galena!
We stayed with a group of 8 adults, teens, and kids. We loved that there was plenty of space for everyone! The house is very well equipped, and we made great use of the firepit and hot tub. We also utilized the clubhouse and community pool (extra day passes are just $5/day). Communication with the owners was easy, and check in/out was a breeze. We hope to be back!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Longwood Hideaway! It is a great house with lots of space. It is very well stocked. My only complaint is the upstairs mattress should be replaced. Other than that, we loved it and would recommend this home to anyone.

Longwood Hideaway was perfect
We thoroughly enjoyed Longwood Hideaway for our annual girls trip. The screened in porch saw lots of morning coffee chats and games. The space allowed us plenty of room to stretch out and not be in each others way.

The home is beautiful and just as described by the owners. Plenty of space for a large family and a very well stocked kitchen including coffee station and plenty of dishes, bowls and anything you would need. Located in a nice quiet neighborhood. Really enjoyed our stay!

What you see online - pictures AND description - is accurate, but does not do it justice. Beautiful home and 15 minutes from Galena, but we only went there to buy food as there was no reason to leave the home except for the Clubhouse and hiking. The kids (4) loved the pool at the Clubhouse and the elders (6) loved the hot tub at the house. Fully stocked kitchen and gas grill so you can make / cook whatever you want. Check-in was extremely simple and Jody was responsive and accommodating. It was my 63rd birthday and this location made it memorable!

Beautiful secluded home
We hosted a murder mystery party here for my 17 year old and her friends. The house looks as spacious inside as it does in the photos. Plenty of room for ten. Kids loved the pool table and the hot tub. Kitchen worked great. Well stocked with towels and other amenities. Property is surrounded by woods and very peaceful. Only a few minutes to downtown Galena too.

Awesome Place to Stay1
This property was perfect for a group of adults to get away for a weekend. Every bedroom has it's own bathroom so ample privacy. The big large open area is where we spent most of our time, besides around the fire pit for one evening, playing games and hanging out. Bobbie was responsive to our questions prior to our weekend. We would definitely stay here again! Everything was great! No complaints!!

We had a great experience with this property. The house was well appointed and included everything a family may need, including a second refrigerator. Kids enjoyed their own space in the basement and the adults were able to enjoy the top floor. We would definitely look into staying here again.
